Maps Call of Duty - Scrapyard
Scrapyard

Scrapyard is a small multiplayer map from .

Description

Scrapyard is set in an airplane graveyard, where many airplane parts are scattered. The map design is straight, similar to Highrise, but much smaller. Game modes like ground war, domination or hardcore headquarters are highly chaotic. The large number of players and even deadlier weapons make for some action on the battlefield.

The remains of the planes provide limited cover and many players camp in, but once you’ve taken out a lot of players, enemies start using explosive weapons or full metal jacket bullets through the thin metal walls for a revenge kill. To avoid this, it’s best to have an attack shield.

Info

  • At a XP event, a faithful replica of the map was set up. Visitors of the event were allowed to play a round of paintball on Scrapyard.
  • The planes in the yard are mostly passenger planes, as you can see on Terminal. Outside the map you can also see jets and helicopters.
  • The tree in the middle of the map has no physical properties.
  • If you fly as far south as you can in spectator mode, you will encounter buildings and containers.
  • Outside the map there is also a fenced area that has solid ground, unlike everything else in spectator mode.
  • You see almost no planes outside the map, most of the environment is desert.
