Maps Call of Duty - Salvage
Salvage

Salvage is a medium-sized multiplayer map from of Modern Warfare 2, which appeared with the Stimulus map pack.

Description

Salvage is a snowy junkyard where a lot of scrap metal and broken cars are piled up. This creates many opportunities to take cover, but there are also open areas where you can see far.

The house in the north of the map contains a shrine to Imran Zakhaev and is a popular spot. It is usually heavily defended by players because it is easy to reach and it is very central, allowing you to overlook the main locations. To the south of the house is a scrap metal press, which overlooks two large warehouses at the other end of the map. Outside, players can hide in a doghouse. Since you have to lie down to get in there, players with a mission shield can forget about it right now unless they switch to their secondary weapon.

Info

  • The uniforms of Task Force 141 differ from their usual winter look. Some classes got a whole new design, so you play as a submachine gun user with a yellow uniform, people with a light machine gun have camouflage pattern pants on, and snipers borrow parts from the Navy Seals sniper model.
  • On the western side of the map there is a building full of diagrams.
These are the Dragunov, the AK-47 and the Makarov. There is also a blueprint and TV footage from Zakhaev International Airport and plans for the attack.
  • In the same house, you can see an inflatable rubber doll on the upper floor between the roof beams.
  • When you fly out of the map in free spectator mode, you notice that the ground is still solid for a large part, unlike the other where the solid ground stops after a few meters outside.
  • A book by Gerard van Honthorst can be seen on the ground by the weapon diagrams. The same book is located in the White House in the campaign.
  • On the second floor of the house with the shrine to Zakhaev, there is the symbol of OpFor on the wall.

The Call of Duty series has existed since 2003 and in addition to various spin-offs, including for the handheld systems Nintendo DS and Sony PSP, 14 major titles of the series have now been released. Ever since the first part of the series, great emphasis has been placed on the online multiplayer mode in addition to the single-player campaign, which is also reflected in the development of the shooter series. Since the first Call of Duty, World at War, which was developed exclusively by Treyarch, each part also included cooperative challenges that you could play together with friends. The latest installment, Call of Duty: World War II, also features an extended multiplayer mode that puts you and your friends in the combat zones and famous battles of World War II. Using the divisions, you’ll be able to choose between the deadly sniper and the brute armored division and support your comrades in battle. In addition, World War II also has a zombie mode “Nazi Zombies”, as in its predecessor Call of Duty: Black Ops. Face the monsters of the Third Reich and win glory and honor.
