Quarry is a large multiplayer map from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2.

Description

Quarry is set in a large quarry somewhere in Brazil, which you can tell by the Brazilian flag hanging from a building. There are great vantage points for snipers all over the map, but most of them are already well known by now and it’s truly difficult for a sniper to survive in one place for a long time after taking out several enemies. Close-quarters battles also take place in buildings and on narrow paths. This map is great for any type of combat, sniper and assault rifles get their money’s worth from a distance, while submachine guns and shotguns can be used for close combat.

In some places, players can climb on hollowed-out rocks to get a good view for a sniper rifle thanks to the height. Unfortunately, if you haven’t unlocked the desert camouflage suit or are using an assault rifle, things get tough because you’re relatively permissive most of the time. In some places, even the normal camouflage suit stands out. In the buildings, there are additionally extremely many places for campers, because ladders and catwalks lead to the top, where many lie down and eliminate unwary enemies. By now, however, most of these places are known and the majority of players investigate these places first before rushing into the building.

• From the spawn point of Task Force 141 you have to go right and walk down the path until you reach two trash cans, three barrels and a stone wall. There you have to turn right again and walk up the small hill, which is almost like a staircase. There you can discover a literal place for “campers”, complete with sleeping bags and tent.
