Mission is a multiplayer map from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. The map is medium-sized and takes place in an area around a bombed-out church in Sierra Leone, Africa. The competing factions are the PMC and the African Militia.

Description

Mission is a medium sized map set at a destroyed church in Sierra Leone. The two spawn points are located on opposite sides of the map, once at the foot of a hill and once on a hill. In the middle of the map the level changes, which means that from there you can see the lower part of the map. Many battles often revolve around this hill. There are many buildings on mission, but most of them cannot be entered. However, there are backyards and alleys near these houses that invite close combat. From the streets you can see far.

Survival combat

In Survival Combat, Mission has a difficulty of “Normal.” Players start with the USP .45, two frag grenades, two stun grenades, one revive and 250 armor. Enemies consist of bomber squads, chemical weapons, helicopters and juggernauts with mission shields.

The weapons depot is located in the southeast corner of the map in a small alley and the equipment depot is located on the west side by the long wall. The small building that players can climb a ladder on in multiplayer is blocked, also this applies to the building by flag C in dominion, from which you can look down on flag A. When the helicopters come, this map can already get hard because there are few options to seek shelter inside, especially after the famous place from multiplayer is blocked.

• Near flag C you can find a house with an open door. Through the spectator mode you can fly up, where you will discover a teddy bear with the inscription “Porter wuz here” (Eng. Porter was here).
• In the department store by the bridge there is a kind of ghost bear that you can only see from a certain angle.
