Maps Call of Duty - Makin
Makin

Makin is a multiplayer map from : World at War. It is set on the coastal area of Makin Island. You can find many cover options, but there are also open areas where you’ll be a sitting duck if you don’t check out the surroundings. Since the map is extremely dark, there are many players who rely on sneaking.

Info

  • This map was playable along with Castle and Roundhouse in the beta of World at War.
  • There is an Easteregg near the Japanese spawn point. If you spawn and then walk directly to the building connected to the bridge, you should take a look under the table that is in front of the first window on the left. Under it, a fish has been impaled with a Hitler Youth knife, something that didn’t even exist in the occupied territories of Japan at the time.
  • If you go to the temple in the north of the map, you can hear chimes and a large bell ringing.
  • With the patch of February 26, 2009, a free bonus map called Makin Day was released, a version of Makin that plays during the day, has some new content and includes tides.
  • With the same patch, the ladder was removed from the building next to the marine spawn point because there were too many campers.
  • Beacons are highly recommended on this map because when you throw them into the sky, they look like giant fireballs, distracting enemies, plus they light up certain areas.
  • There is a glitch on this map that lets you get into the rocks. If you jump against it a few times, you might fall in and be able to shoot enemies from the inside, while the rock works as an impenetrable shield.

of Duty

The Call of Duty series has existed since 2003 and in addition to various spin-offs, including for the handheld systems Nintendo DS and Sony PSP, 14 major titles of the series have now been released. Ever since the first part of the series, great emphasis has been placed on the online multiplayer mode in addition to the single-player campaign, which is also reflected in the development of the shooter series. Since the first Call of Duty, World at War, which was developed exclusively by Treyarch, each part also included cooperative challenges that you could play together with friends. The latest installment, Call of World War II, also features an extended multiplayer mode that puts you and your friends in the combat zones and famous battles of World War II. Using the divisions, you’ll be able to choose between the deadly sniper and the brute armored division and support your comrades in battle. In addition, World War II also has a zombie mode “Nazi Zombies”, as in its predecessor Call of Duty: Black Ops. Face the monsters of the Third Reich and win glory and honor.
