Liberation is a multiplayer map from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 that appeared with Content Pack 1 and is set in Central Park in New York.
Survival
While Liberation has no stated difficulty level in the game, the map plays as if it were normal. Players start with the USP .45, two frag grenades, two stun grenades, one revive and 250 armor. Enemies include demolition squads, chemical weapons, helicopters and juggernauts with shields.

- In the pavilion, “U MAD BRO?” was scrawled on one of the support beams. This saying has gained great notoriety on the Internet. On other beams you can find the initials of Infinity Ward and codes.
- On the buildings that stand around the map, there are several billboards with the words “One Bad CPA”.
- There are two miniguns on the map, however they are not usable in Survival and Infected.
- Oddly enough, the name in the game files is italy_mp, even though the map is not set in Italy.
