Maps Call of Duty - Fog
Fog

Fog is a small to medium multiplayer map from : Ghosts that appeared with the Onslaught DLC. It is set in a dark and eerie campsite near a lake in Washington, which is surrounded by fog. It is influenced by horror movies and the supernatural itself.

Allusions to horror movies

The map hides allusions to several horror movies. Most of them can be found in and around the cabin, mostly revolving around the movie Evil Dead. None of these things affect the player or the gameplay during a round in any way.

Evil Dead

Hanging from a pole in the basement is a doll with a skull. This alludes to the 2013 remake, where a possessed girl is tied to a post in the same position at the beginning of the movie and burned. In the first-floor room, on a table, is a tape recorder with a microphone, which in the film the character Ash uses to play a tape and accidentally summon the demons. Outside the hut opposite the well is the hut from Evil Dead II, where Ash’s girlfriend is decapitated, however the head comes back among the living and bites his hand. On the wall you can see the outline of a chainsaw drawn in chalk, which Ash used to kill the head and later tied to his arm. The yellow car hanging from the trailer is Ash’s car from the Army of Darkness part. The bridge at the end of the map is also from that movie. Several metal bars in the shape of a hand on the bridge prevented the characters in the movie from reaching a car that was on the other side.

The Ring

In the small hut next to the pumpkin you can find a TV with a black and white picture, under which there are some cassettes.

Friday the 13th

The building on which “Emerald Lake” stands has been defiled, because above it is now written “Death”. This is a reference to Crystal Lake from the movie.

Scream

The spider webs in the cabins are shaped like the mask of the serial killer from the movie.

The Walking Dead

The trailer of the series character Dale is on the map, his hat can be spotted on a log by the campfire.

Ghostbusters

Next to the tape recorder on the second floor are three cassettes, all of which bear the inscription “Ghost Boaters 3”.

Call of Duty

The Call of Duty series has existed since 2003 and in addition to various spin-offs, including for the handheld systems Nintendo DS and Sony PSP, 14 major titles of the series have now been released. Ever since the first part of the series, great emphasis has been placed on the online multiplayer mode in addition to the single-player campaign, which is also reflected in the development of the shooter series. The latest installment, Call of Duty: World War II, also features an extended multiplayer mode that puts you and your friends in the combat zones and famous battles of World War II. Using the divisions, you’ll be able to choose between the deadly sniper and the brute armored division and support your comrades in battle. In addition, World War II also has a zombie mode “Nazi Zombies”, as in its predecessor Call of Duty: Black Ops. Face the monsters of the Third Reich and win glory and honor.
