Express is a multiplayer map in Call of Duty: Black Ops II.
Description
This map is set at the Los Angeles train station for the California high speed trains. This means that there are also high speed trains that can be deadly. There are many narrow corridors and rooms on the sides, but towards the middle the map becomes more open. There is a waiting train on the tracks with three carriages open. Through them you can get from one side to the other.
Info
- In the small building in the middle of the map there are computers, on the screen of which you can see the Lodestar.
- The trains run from Los Angeles to San Francisco according to the timetable.
- The arrival and departure tunnels are decorated with posters for movies about the multiplayer maps Hijacked, Yemen, Meltdown and Turbine.
- On one of the posters you can see the woman from the advertising posters of Kasimira from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3.
- The map is perfectly symmetrical, except for some garbage cans or
baggage carts. It is one of three maps that are almost the same on both sides, the others being Meltdown and Plaza. Plaza and this map have roughly the same orientation, even the two minimaps look similar. - There are trains that run through the map, on the first and third third of a match. In Search & Destroy, the trains run twice per round.
- At the bottom of the minimap you can see a ladder. Climbing this brings you to a bulletin board with various notes such as “ZOMBIES COMING!” or “Repair Turbine.”
- If you look at the timetable and see the stops where the train should stop, you can see that the train should also stop on the map TranZit from Green Run. In Green Run you can even see train tracks on the bus route between the farm and the power plant.
Call of Duty
The Call of Duty series has existed since 2003 and in addition to various spin-offs, including for the handheld systems Nintendo DS and Sony PSP, 14 major titles of the series have now been released. Ever since the first part of the series, great emphasis has been placed on the online multiplayer mode in addition to the single-player campaign, which is also reflected in the development of the shooter series. Since the first Call of Duty, World at War, which was developed exclusively by Treyarch, each part also included cooperative challenges that you could play together with friends. The latest installment, Call of Duty: World War II, also features an extended multiplayer mode that puts you and your friends in the combat zones and famous battles of World War II. Using the divisions, you’ll be able to choose between the deadly sniper and the brute armored division and support your comrades in battle. In addition, World War II also has a zombie mode “Nazi Zombies”, as in its predecessor Call of Duty: Black Ops. Face the monsters of the Third Reich and win glory and honor.
