Carrier is a multiplayer map from Call of Duty: Black Ops II set on a Chinese aircraft carrier. It is very tight in places and encourages close
combat. SEAL Team Six fights against the SDC, and the map is also available in every game mode.
Description
Since the map is based on a Chinese aircraft carrier, there are also a lot of objects standing around and mostly preventing combat from a long distance. On the right side of the map are the buildings, but only the lower part can be entered. At the bottom right, a fighter jet is parked, under which you can also hide. From this area, you can only reach the top via the ladder on the right or the stairs. Thanks to the low position, players are quite exposed to attacks from above. Next to the parked jet are two more, but at the normal height, which can also be climbed via ladders. They are one of the two ways to reach the right height to shoot over the barriers.
At the bottom left there is a helipad that you can enter via three paths. This also creates a lot of fights there, especially because there are four spawn positions within the radius. There is a lower corridor at the end where players also spawn. At the top left there are ramps, the highest position on the map. Crouched, you can shoot from there and still remain a relatively small target. The sides, however, are completely free, making you an easy target.
Info
- The coordinates, if you use a tactical entry, describe the location of Carrier about 700 miles from the Japanese coast in the North Pacific.
- Near the SDC spawn there is a room with three computer screens, the screens on the left and right show the logo of the winning faction, the one in the middle just some numbers.
Call of Duty
The Call of Duty series has existed since 2003 and in addition to various spin-offs, including for the handheld systems Nintendo DS and Sony PSP, 14 major titles of the series have now been released. Ever since the first part of the series, great emphasis has been placed on the online multiplayer mode in addition to the single-player campaign, which is also reflected in the development of the shooter series. Since the first Call of Duty, World at War, which was developed exclusively by Treyarch, each part also included cooperative challenges that you could play together with friends. The latest installment, Call of Duty: World War II, also features an extended multiplayer mode that puts you and your friends in the combat zones and famous battles of World War II. Using the divisions, you’ll be able to choose between the deadly sniper and the brute armored division and support your comrades in battle. In addition, World War II also has a zombie mode “Nazi Zombies”, as in its predecessor Call of Duty: Black Ops. Face the monsters of the Third Reich and win glory and honor.
