LoL team from HandOfBlood earns scorn

With Eintracht Spandau, YouTuber HandOfBlood and his agency INSTINCT 3 have sent a team into the highest German in . The start was bumpy and with many defeats. They were ridiculed for this. But in the meantime, the team has caught on and finished the split in second place.

How did the – Season go?

Eintracht Spandau dominated the dragons and so did every game

How did the last match go? The last match in the spring split of the Strauss Prime League was Eintracht Spandau vs Unicorns of Love. The winner of the match would move up to 2nd place, while the loser would linger 4th. So there was a lot at stake, as 1st and 2nd place in the regular league qualified for at least a play-in tournament for the EU Masters.

However, the match went the way most Eintracht Spandau fans are used to by now. On time in minute five, Obsess was at the Dragon and secured it easily. Dragons two and three also went to the HandOfBlood team.

Although Unicorns of Love was able to get more kills, overall Eintracht Spandau was ahead in items such as platings, towers, and dragons. At minute 22, Spandau made a risky but spectacular Baron kill, which was only possible because the opposing jungler Lurox had no Smite.

Eintracht Spandau then played the rest of the match down without much risk, so that they could destroy the opponent’s Nexus at minute 27. Most noticeable was the performance of Pride in the top lane, who had some good 1v1 and 1v2 scenes, and Obsess, who had the best stats as a jungler with 3/0/1.

“The roster was not chosen by name”.

What do the players say about Eintracht Spandau’s success? Eintracht Spandau finishes the first split since the team’s existence in 2nd place – with 12 wins, 6 losses and most recently even 8 wins in a row.

This qualifies them for the upper bracket of the playoffs, where they are assured of 3rd place. With a win over either GamerLegion or the team that advances to the semifinals, they can earn direct entry into the EU Masters Spring 2022.

In the post-match interview, supporter Olivier “Prime” Payet explained what makes Eintracht Spandau so special:

The way the coaches put the team together. They didn’t choose the players by name and notoriety. They chose so that they knew we would play well together, that we would all have the same mentality and work hard.

We have strong opinions on things, discuss them, and learn quickly. We are the team with the best macro in the Prime League and we develop faster than the others.

Where do we go from here? In just a few days, the playoffs will begin for the first teams in the Prime League. On Tuesday, March 1, MOUZ and BIG will meet each other. The special thing here is that the playoffs are played in a best-of-five.

For Eintracht Spandau it continues one week later, on March 8. There they meet Gamer Legion, the only team they lost to in the second round – and very dramatically.

What do you think about Eintracht Spandau? Do you follow the team and the league intensively? Or do you only watch the highest division, the LEC? And if not, do you think Spandau will have a good place in the EU Masters?

The well-known Twitch streamer Tyler1 has achieved an interesting success in the last week. For this he gets respect from many players and also other streamers:
