The next update in League of Legends is already on the horizon. The patch 12.13 should bring quite a few adjustments to champions on July 13. But also the new bot laner Nilah could make his appearance in the Summoner’s Rift with the update.

Patch 12.12b was already released on Thursday and brought adjustments to some champions including , Katarina, Leona as well as Bel’Veth. The update is only to bridge the time to the actual patch 12.13, since this will go live later in League of Legends due to a summer break of .

Although the new jungler Bel’Veth only appeared in the Summoner’s Rift at the beginning of June, the bot laner Nilah is already supposed to make her first appearance in League of Legends with patch 12.13. This is an AD carry for melee combat that has abilities related to water and also uses them in fights. Nilah is armed with a whip for this purpose.

With her passive ability, the champion can even buff nearby allies. Nilah boosts their healing and shields. However, in addition to the new AD Carry, other adjustments will be made to the champions. An avalanche of adjustments is rolling towards League of Legends. Already on Thursday the micropatch 12.12b will become active. Two weeks later, massive adjustments will follow in update 12.13.

As Riot Games lead designer Matt Leung-Harrison announced via Twitter on Wednesday, four champions will get a buff in micropatch 12.12b, while seven will be generated.

Among the champions, Bel’Veth has to take a hit again. The newest character in the LoL universe gets less health and attack damage increase. In addition, the cooldown of the E ability is increased and at the same time the Lifesteal effect is permanently fixed at 20 percent. Meanwhile, Senna has to make do with 30 points less Base Health. Wukong has also been hit hard. The jungler now deals 40 percent less damage to monsters.

On the other hand, fans of Caitlyn can rejoice. Her passive damage is increased by 10 percent again, and the W’s bonus damage also increases. Meanwhile, Leona also gets more passive damage, Shaco enjoys a higher Attack Damage Ratio and reduced cooldown of the W ability.

Patch 12.13 with focus on Sivir and Gwen

In the first information for Patch 12.13, which is scheduled to be released on July 13, concrete as well as versatile adjustments are planned for the champions Sivir and Gwen. Both of them will receive massive changes. Sivir is to receive “more moments of personal strength.” Her kit will remain the same, but will be improved.

Specifically, Sivir will start the match with slightly reduced Ability Damage and Base Mana. In return, her stats should increase significantly from the mid-game onwards. In addition, her W ability for wave management improves because the damage from one enemy hits an adjacent enemy even more. However, this effect is no longer infinite.

Her E ability can still intercept enemy spells, but in exchange no more mana immediately returns to the pool. Sivir does get a heal for herself, though. The biggest change is to her Ultimate. Her R-Cooldown is drastically reduced, but her Attack Speed is also removed. However, a Takedown renews her abilities, which should give her more explosive options.

On the other hand, Gwen receives clear adjustments especially on her Q skill. The Ability Power will be increased. In addition, Wave Clear against Minions is significantly improved if they already have less than 20% Health. Speaking of Health, Gwen’s HP regeneration also increases slightly. Her E gets more range and magic damage. In addition, there is more Ability Power for the Ultimate.

In addition to the champion adjustments, Mythic items will also be available with Lethality factor are improved. Mythic items affected include Duskblade, Prowlers, and Eclipse. All items increase passive speed by 5. In addition, Eclipse’s range damage is improved.

Report from June 28

Riot Games lead designer Matt Leung-Harrison announced on Tuesday that a micropatch 12.12b will follow the already released patch. This is scheduled to go online on Thursday.
“We are planning a 12.12 micropatch to hit a few special cases on June 30,” Matt Leung-Harrison said in his statement on Twitter. Champions that were hit too hard by nerfs in the 12.11 update should get a buff again.

Champions listed in yellow are slated for patch 12.12b. These include Shaco, Katarina, Caitlyn, and Leona, who will all receive a buff each. On the other hand, Bel’Veth, Senna, Tahm Kench, Zeri, Wukong, Seraphine and Yuumi will be weakened. Especially the newest champion Bel’Veth has to take the second nerf in a row.

Patch 12.13 will be delayed due to the micropatch and will not be released until July 13. In this one, the planned customization of Gwen could play a big role. The gifted seamstress has had several good phases in Pro-Play since her release. However, because she only has a win rate of just under 46 percent on the top lane, the developer wants to change something about her kit.

In addition to the Gwen Adjustment, some champions like Renekton and Master Yi are to receive a buff. Lethality Mythics will also be strengthened, while Divine Sunderer will be changed again. However, Riot Games has not yet announced any information about specific stats. We’ll keep you updated on any new additions.
