LoL: Fnatic apparently loses Adam and Bwipo

The biggest team from Europe in is Fnatic. They even became world champions years ago. In 2021 they had a decent LoL team together: With , they were able to field one of the biggest talents in Europe, and with , they presented a real leading player. Both of them are now supposedly gone. It’s supposed to be “Wunder” from G2, of all people, who has been criticized lately.

So ran for 2021 for Fnatic:

  • 2021 was a strange year for Fnatic, as they lost 2 of their best players: the legendary ADC Rekkles went to competitor G2, Jungler Selfmade disappeared as well. However, they were able to get two great talents in ADC Upset and Toplaner Adam.
  • After a slow start, Fnatic didn’t come together until the end of the – Season , when they went full botlane, talent Adam blossomed in the top lane, and experienced top laner Bwipo did much better in the jungle than anyone could have expected. Ultimately, the year ended with qualification for the Worlds, where things didn’t go well at all and there was a lot of grief.
  • For 2022, Fnatic is going to reposition itself. They have to, because they will lose 3 important players, as current transfer rumors credibly show.

LoL: A 21-year-old German just becomes the new star in Europe in the playoffs

Who all goes? For Fnatic it is particularly bitter that they have to give away their “young talent” Adam after only a few games. The Frenchman is considered one of the greatest talents in European LoL ever, he now moves to the new team BDS from Switzerland, who bought the spot from Schalke. This is a serious setback for Fnatic.

The deal is not yet, but is considered as good as certain. It is said that Fnatic and Team BDs have verbally agreed on a transfer (via upcomer). It sounds like Team BDS is investing in its future and wants to play a good role in the LEC right away.

Fnatic will also lose its lead player Bwipo. He is apparently moving back to the Top Lane. It is said that he will move to the USA to Team Liquid. He’s in good company: US superstar Bjergsen and ADC Hans Sama are also rumored to be heading there (via dotesports).

During the LoL Worlds 2021, Bwipo suffered bitterly from his girlfriend being in the crosshairs of the fans: Some Fnatic supporters held her responsible for the poor performance of their team.

This is Bwipo, the lead player of Fnatic.

It also looks like midlaner Nisqy is leaving team Fnatic. However, he is apparently unhappy with his situation. Supposedly there were talks about Nisqy replacing Croatian Perkz at Cloud 9, but Fnatic apparently wanted too much money for Nisqy and the negotiations broke down. Now it could happen that Nisqy is without a team for the first time in 2022 (via dotesports).

Nisqy sounds dejected.

Price of miracle reportedly down from €2,000,000 to €600,000

Who does Fnatic fetch new? Today it became known that Fnatic apparently signed the top laner Wunder from G2 (via dotesports). He was considered the leading top laner in Europe for years, although his love for WoW got in the way from time to time.

Sources say Wunder is even a bargain, instead of €2 million originally called for him, Fnatic reportedly got him for €600,000. The figures come from sources on the site Dotesports.

G2 giving a player to Fnatic is rare. Recently it came out that they even had a clause in the contract with the player Perkz that he could not be sold to Fnatic. Not even years after he had already left G2.

Most recently, fans had voiced some criticism of Wunder, saying he didn’t take LoL as seriously as he used to and would troll more often in training matches. However, Wunder seems to feel that the criticism is unfair:

Wunder commented slightly caustically: If there are questions about his character, he said, one should write to him.

Otherwise, Hylissanng and Upset are apparently staying together in the botlane – they are then looking for a jungler and a midlaner, with the deals on the positions not yet finalized but just clearly emerging.

Wunder is known for his love of WoW and was even punished for it once:
