What a final spurt! G2 Esports managed to stay in first place in the LEC after a mixed – Season by keeping a clean slate in the final week of the European league and knocking out rival MAD Lions in a head-to-head battle.
Decisions in midfield
For Misfits and Fnatic, the only issue was the exact seed in the final round, but Excel and Team Vitality had to fight for the final spot in the playoffs. The surprise team of the – Season got the upper hand, eliminating the French team that had been in such a good position the week before – but in such tight circumstances as this – Season , there’s no such thing as certainty for anyone.
