The YouTuber has published some videos for FIFA 22, which mainly show tricks for better passes. We present you 6 tools with which you can crack the defense of your opponents and score better goals in FIFA 22.

Lofted pass

This is how the trick works:

All you have to do is hold down L1 (LB) and tap Triangle (Y) twice to play a high slant pass. BorasLegend calls this passing variation one of the most effective ways to outplay the opponent’s defense.

You’ll need to consider several factors when doing this, of course:

• The timing at the time of the pass must be right
• The position of your targeted player must also be ideal.
• In the fast forward movement, he should be just before the offside line when you deliver the pass.

This pass allows you to outplay unbridgeable defensive lines and send your player towards the opponent’s goal. It’s simple, but effective.

Full-span cross

This is how the trick works:

Hold down R1 (RB) and press square (X), then you can play a full-span cross. This offers several advantages. On the one hand it is very precise, on the other hand it is powerful.

In principle, you can play this cross across half the field. Of course, you have to make sure that there are no opposing players in the path of the pass who can intercept the ball.

However, if you have a clear path and want to move the game quickly, this variation is extremely useful and can serve as a can opener for new chances.

High lob/High cross

This is how the trick works:

This variant is the counterpart of the turned flat pass. In this case you have to hold down L1 (LB) and press square (X).

This ball is played high, but arrives at the target with similar strength and precision as the flat pass. So you can use it when you want to bypass several players and still push forward.

This variant is also useful when your player in possession of the ball is under pressure and you want to break free. The pass is also very practical for changing sides.

Lofted pass

This is how the trick works:

This small but nice passing variation can be very useful especially in and around the opponent’s penalty area. You use the lobbed pass by tapping X (A) 2 times.

Instead of playing a regular pass, you lob the ball to your next player at a short distance. This allows you to get past opponents and create shooting opportunities, especially in tight spaces.

Turned flat pass with direct pass

This is how the trick works:

This is a combination of the turned on flat pass (R1/RB + pass) with a direct pass after it.

So you play a turned flat pass and the pass receiver passes the ball directly by means of a pass. If you hold L1/RB before, you can send your player forward and pass the ball directly back to him.

Fake Shot – The Most Useful Skill Move?

Here’s how the trick works:

One of the most useful offensive skill moves is Shot Cancelling, or the faked shot. BorasLegend even thinks that it could be the best skill move in FIFA 22.

To fake a shot, you must first circle (B) the shot, but before firing the shot, press L2 + R2 (LT + RT) and the desired direction using the stick to cancel the shot just before.

This takes a little practice and quick finger work, but is immensely worthwhile. You can use it to perform unpredictable moves that make you hard to predict on offense.
