After Zeri, the developers at Riot Games are now directly adding the next new character to the long-running hit League of Legends: Renata Glasc becomes the 159th champion in the game.

The new character is the Chem Baroness from the undercity of Zhaun, who comes from a family of resourceful and altruistic alchemists. She grows up to be an important figure in the district and wants to go beyond the borders of Zhaun through Chemtech.

In League of Legends, Renata Glasc is usually on the bot lane as a supporter, so she primarily supports a fellow player. However, thanks to her unusual abilities, she even lets her opponents fight for her. With her ultimate abilities, she turns opponents into berserkers, who eventually turn on each other themselves.

Renata Glasc’s abilities at a glance:

• • Passive ability – leverage
    Renata Glasc’s normal attacks mark her opponents and deal additional damage. Damage from Renata’s allies’ abilities remove the mark and cause additional damage.

• • Q – Handshake
    Renata Glasc fires a projectile from her robotic arm, pinning the first enemy hit. She can activate the ability again to hurl the enemy in a specific direction, damaging hit enemies and stunning them if the thrown target is a champion.

• • W – Rescue operation
    Renata Glasc grants an allied champion or herself increasing attack speed and run speed when she or her ally is moving towards enemies. The duration of the buff is reset if the ally is involved in the kill of an enemy champion. If the ally would die with Rescue, his life will be fully replenished. However, in return, he starts to burn and dies after 3 seconds. The ally can extinguish the fire by participating in the kill of a champion before dying.

• • E – Loyalty program
    Renata Glasc fires chemtech missiles that grant shields to allies. Enemies hit suffer damage and are slowed. The missiles also trigger their effects when cast in an area around Renata, as well as in the course of an explosion after reaching maximum range.

• • R – Hostile takeover
    Renata Glasc unleashes a cloud of chemicals that turns enemies into berserkers, increasing their attack speed and causing them to attack anything near them with normal attacks. Enemy berserkers attack their own allies first, then neutral units, then Renata Glasc’s team, and finally Renata herself.
