League of Legends Skins-Potential Champion

The of Legends 2020 are now behind us after an exciting final over the weekend. Congratulations to DAMWON , who take the title and trophy to South Korea. But now an important question: which champs will get a new skin now?

According to the tradition from the past 10 years and 10 Worlds champions, the fans as well as the players themselves are expecting new World skins for the characters. And we are lucky, because in an interview with the Damwon Champions some names have already been mentioned, for which the World Champions would like to have new skins.

Nuguri: Know

Even though Nuguri hasn’t decided 100% yet, he will most likely choose Kennen as his World 2020 Skins Champion. He has played some matches with this champ during the Worlds and finished them with top scores. We are curious how a new skin for Kennen could look like.

Canyon: Graves

The Finals MVP himself couldn’t decide between Graves and Nidalee at , but later clarified that he would probably choose Graves. He calls himself a “Graves one-trick”, which might have a spark of truth to it, since he actually played 11 matches with this champ in the 2020 Worlds! I wonder what Graves looks like in the white and turquoise colors of DWG? We hope to find out soon!

ShowMaker: Twisted Fate

For ShowMaker, the decision was probably clear from the start. As if shot out of a pistol, the young world champion stated that he would like to give Twisted Fate a new skin. And if you look at the history, it makes sense! With a 100% win rate and a KDA of 17 with Twisted Fate in the 2020 Worlds, of course this has to be rewarded!

Ghost: Ashe, Jhin or

Ghost says that he could at least reduce his choice to 3 champions! Haha! So fans can rejoice, because it could be that either Ashe, Caitlyn or Jhin could get a new Damwon Gaming skin. Jhin is so far the only one of the three who already has a World Skin – I wonder if he will get another one? Well, which one it will be, we’ll probably only know when there will be info about it, or we get to see the design directly.

BeryL: Leona or Pantheon

BeryL is spoilt for choice and can choose a new skin for Leona or Pantheon. He did say, however, that he feared Pantheon might not be as strong in the support role next year, so he’s leaning more towards Leona. Both interesting info for us! If and how Pantheon will still change, you will be the first to find out! And a white and turquoise skin for Leona sounds great too – we can’t wait to see the designs!

Champion skin

Champion skin (or skin for short) refers to the color scheme or appearance of a champion. Most champion skins can be purchased in the Shop with Riot Points, while others are/were only available for special events/promotions. However, some selected chroma skins (color-changed skins)can be purchased at special events for Blue Essence. Some champion skins bring new particles for visual effects, quotes and sound effects. Each skin has its own splashart, which is displayed in the champion selection and loading screen. Since patch 7.16, the custom champion image is also matched to the skin in the game itself.

What is actually… “”?

“League of Legends is one of the most successful e-sports titles in the world. But what is it actually about? And what makes the game so popular? An explanation for beginners.

What is League of Legends (“LoL”) about?

In a classic game of “League of Legends,” two teams each have five characters called champions, each with individual characteristics. The main goal of each team is to destroy the opponent’s Nexus (a main building). Before this can be attacked, however, several defenses must be torn down on at least one of the three central level routes (lanes). Similar to “Dota 2”, the heroes receive continuous support on their campaign from AI-controlled units called minions. They storm the battlefield at regular intervals and independently attack enemies or enemy buildings – but only on the three main paths of the map. Those who roam around in the surrounding jungle will have to do without minion help. As usual in the genre, the champions reach higher levels by collecting experience points. In the course of the match, they learn numerous new abilities. Provided they have enough gold, the player can also strengthen himself with new equipment. Each of the 141 hero characters that the player can currently choose from is assigned to one of six classes. Warriors can deal out a lot of damage, tanks take a lot of punishment, mages have powerful special abilities, and supporters can, among other things, replenish the mana energy of allies or heal their comrades-in-arms.
