True Damage and K/DA have long provided League of Legends’ KPOP and hip-hop fans with awesome music and cool music videos. Is Pentakill making a comeback for the metal fans?
Unbelievably, it’s been four years since Pentakill has released music. Four years since we got to hear our favorite LoL heavy metal band? That’s when the metal friends among LoL players came up short for a long time. In the meantime there was a meeeenge K/DA for it. Oh and a stalking fangirl named Seraphine, who really wanted to join the band. But All Out was also a really cool EP, so I am not mad.
Obviously, this doesn’t fit K/DA. Possibly it’s about True Damage? But wait, wasn’t there some other band? This screams Pentakill.
What leads us to believe that this is Pentakill is not the graphics or the design. It’s actually the hashtags! If you’re a fan of Pentakill, you’ll know that their first records were called I and II (Roman numerals. Please don’t read that as i or L). The hashtags in this case are #III and #ReturnOfLegends. III makes sense in terms of the record, Return of Legends, since it’s been so long since Pentakill released new music.
When will Pentakill return?
Pentakill is expected to return with new music in September, September 8 to be exact. The teaser from Riot with the above proof speaks volumes. And if this doesn’t turn out to be true and K/DA has a change of heart and makes a different style and…. now makes metal music, I’m going to eat a broom and film myself doing it. So, don’t do that to me, Riot.
Is Pentakill getting new skins?
It can be assumed that once Pentakill returns with new music, they will also get new skins. LoL Patch 11.18 will be released on September 9, which is one day after Pentakill’s possible return. It would make sense if the skins for patch 11.18 would complete the Pentakill comeback.
If we do get new skins, expect news about them in about two weeks, which is usually when Riot announces the next skin line (a day or two before the new patch). The skins for LoL Patch 11.17 were announced the day before yesterday. Check them out, they are awesome!

Champion skin
Champion skin (or skin for short) refers to the color scheme or appearance of a champion. Most champion skins can be purchased in the Riot Shop with Riot Points, while others are/were only available for special events/promotions. However, some selected chroma skins (color-changed skins)can be purchased at special events for Blue Essence. Some champion skins bring new particles for visual effects, quotes and sound effects. Each skin has its own splashart, which is displayed in the champion selection and loading screen. Since patch 7.16, the custom champion image is also matched to the skin in the game itself.
What is actually… “League of Legends”?
“League of Legends is one of the most successful e-sports titles in the world. But what is it actually about? And what makes the game so popular? An explanation for beginners.
What is League of Legends (“LoL”) about?
In a classic game of “League of Legends,” two teams each have five characters called champions, each with individual characteristics. The main goal of each team is to destroy the opponent’s Nexus (a main building). Before this can be attacked, however, several defenses must be torn down on at least one of the three central level routes (lanes). Similar to “Dota 2”, the heroes receive continuous support on their campaign from AI-controlled units called minions. They storm the battlefield at regular intervals and independently attack enemies or enemy buildings – but only on the three main paths of the map. Those who roam around in the surrounding jungle will have to do without minion help. As usual in the MOBA genre, the champions reach higher levels by collecting experience points. In the course of the match, they learn numerous new abilities. Provided they have enough gold, the player can also strengthen himself with new equipment. Each of the 141 hero characters that the player can currently choose from is assigned to one of six classes. Warriors can deal out a lot of damage, tanks take a lot of punishment, mages have powerful special abilities, and supporters can, among other things, replenish the mana energy of allies or heal their comrades-in-arms.
