League of Legends Skins-Eclipse

Just now, has released images of the upcoming Eclipse skins. The leakers were right with their assumptions!

The leakers were right, in the next of Legends patch Senna will get a nice new Prestige skin! Fortunately, it won’t cost us our firstborn plus a dozen monthly incomes anymore, but in what way could we still rely on leaks?

The Eclipse and Coven Universe keeps getting bigger, now we get new Lunar and Solar Eclipse skins. Finally, Leona is no longer the only one with such an Eclipse skin. She deserves some good company. So let’s take a look at all the eclipse skins together.

Which champions will get an eclipse skin?

In total, five champions will get a fancy new eclipse skin. Add to that the already mentioned Prestige Lunar Eclipse skin for Senna, and you have a total of six new skins from this series. With Prestige 2.0, Riot is putting special emphasis on making the Prestige skins something truly unique. Also their Splash Arts should no longer simply be based on the version of the normal skins.

  • Lunar Eclipse Senna
  • Lunar Eclipse Senna Prestige
  • Lunar Eclipse Aatrox
  • Solar Eclipse Kayle
  • Solar Eclipse Sivir
  • Solar Eclipse Sejuani

Which champions already have an eclipse skin?

Leona is the only champion who already has such an eclipse skin. She has both a Lunar and a Solar Eclipse skin. However, the Eclipse universe is connected to the Coven universe, so we can also count all champions with a skin from the Coven and Old God series into this universe.

How much will the Eclipse skins cost?

These skins will all be epic and cost 1350 RP, the only exception being Sivir. She will get a legendary skin for 1820 RP. This is her legendary skin, which is basically a little sad because she is one of the oldest champions in the game.

Will there be an eclipse event?

Currently, the Anima Squad event runs until May 2, 2022, and it seems like two events will overlap then, because the Eclipse skins are also supposed to get a mini-event for their release.

The Eclipse event will run from April 28, 2022 to May 28, 2022. So if you want to learn more about the Coven and Eclipse universe, you can look forward to this event. There are currently two missions for it already in the client, you can view them by clicking on the icon for them in the bottom right corner of the client:

MissionTaskReward
Introduction to the Showcase MilestonesPlay and win games to score 150 points
  • 1 Eclipse capsule
  • 1 Eclipse goodie bag
Oh brave knightMysterious target
  • 200 orange essences

“Mysterious target”? We can hardly leave it at that. If you want to know how you’re going to complete this mission beforehand, we have good news for you.

It seems that you will have to play a match with one of the Eclipse champions. It doesn’t matter if you play against them or with them. Also, it doesn’t seem to affect whether the champion is also equipped with an Eclipse skin, as long as they are part of this universe.

So – if you’re in a match with Leona or any of the aforementioned newcomers to the series, you’ll complete the mission! If more missions are added to the Eclipse event, we’ll let you know here.

When will the Eclipse skins be released?

The skins will be released with Patch 12.08. As if that wasn’t enough, we’ll be getting two more skins for Yasuo and Gangplank after the success of the League of Legends spinoff Ruined King: A League of Legends Story.

So, hold on tight, because the next wave of bombastic skins for League of Legends is coming your way on April 27! Maybe you’ll pick up one or two? They’re quite different in style from the Arcana skins, so they’ll appeal to different tastes. Or are you more of the weird variety and still waiting for a new Fiddlesticks skin?

Champion skin

Champion skin (or skin for short) refers to the color scheme or appearance of a champion. Most champion skins can be purchased in the Riot Shop with Riot Points, while others are/were only available for special events/promotions. However, some selected chroma skins (color-changed skins)can be purchased at special events for Blue Essence. Some champion skins bring new particles for visual effects, quotes and sound effects. Each skin has its own splashart, which is displayed in the champion selection and loading screen. Since patch 7.16, the custom champion image is also matched to the skin in the game itself.

What is actually… “League of Legends”?

“League of Legends is one of the most successful e-sports titles in the world. But what is it actually about? And what makes the game so popular? An explanation for beginners.

What is League of Legends (“LoL”) about?

In a classic game of “League of Legends,” two teams each have five characters called champions, each with individual characteristics. The main goal of each team is to destroy the opponent’s Nexus (a main building). Before this can be attacked, however, several defenses must be torn down on at least one of the three central level routes (lanes). Similar to “Dota 2”, the heroes receive continuous support on their campaign from AI-controlled units called minions. They storm the battlefield at regular intervals and independently attack enemies or enemy buildings – but only on the three main paths of the map. Those who roam around in the surrounding jungle will have to do without minion help. As usual in the genre, the champions reach higher levels by collecting experience points. In the course of the match, they learn numerous new abilities. Provided they have enough gold, the player can also strengthen himself with new equipment. Each of the 141 hero characters that the player can currently choose from is assigned to one of six classes. Warriors can deal out a lot of damage, tanks take a lot of punishment, mages have powerful special abilities, and supporters can, among other things, replenish the mana energy of allies or heal their comrades-in-arms.
