According to all known aviation laws, a bee should not be able to fly in any case. […] The bee flies anyway, of course. Because bees don’t care what humans think is impossible.
The Bee skins are coming back to League of Legends! We got a glimpse of the upcoming skins in the 2022 teaser Livestream, so this isn’t a huge surprise, but at least now we know which ones will feature black and yellow skins!
Honestly, after this news, the very first thing I did was watch Bee Movie again. After this video I had an epileptic fit for a moment, then it was ok again. Yes, the bee skins are not very fancy, but all the cuter for it. And that’s all we want. Okay, enough ranting, let’s take a look at the skins!
Which champions get Bee Skins?
Four champions will receive a bee skin in total:
- BZZiggs aka Ziggs
- Orbeeanna aka Orianna
- Nunu & Beelump aka Nunu & Willump
- Heimerstinger aka Heimerdinger
There are no prestige skins with this set, but are we mad at all? Not really. To me, they’re all prestige.
How much do the new Bee skins cost?
The skins will probably sell for 1350 RP. At least they seem like epic skins, and those usually cost 1350 RP. This is true for most new skins, unless they are legendary skins, like Porcelain Protector Ezreal or the Debonair 2.0 Zed skins. However, it is very unlikely that Riot will turn any Bee skins into legendary skins.
When will the new Bee skins be released?
The Bee Skins will be released with League of Legends Patch 12.05, which is scheduled to be released on Wednesday, March 2, 2022, according to Riot Games’ official patch schedule.
Until then, we will get a brand new champion with Renata Glasc in patch 12.04, as well as Shockblade skins. So you’ll have to be patient for a bit.
Which champions already have Bee-Skins?
There are already some champions that have Bee-Skins. The upcoming four will join the following champions:
- Yuubee
- Beezahar
- Beemo
- Bee’Maw
- Beekeeper Singed
Whether Beekeeper Singed is a part of the Bee universe is not known yet. But this is another bee-related skin, so we’ve added it to the list. Hopefully, you’ll have enough RP to get one of the new skins!
Until then, we’ll have to make do with the upcoming Renata Glass skin and keep practicing Zeri until we get a decent handle on the little Speedy Gonzales. But damn, I’ve rarely been so hyped for the Bee skins.
Champion skin
Champion skin (or skin for short) refers to the color scheme or appearance of a champion. Most champion skins can be purchased in the Riot Shop with Riot Points, while others are/were only available for special events/promotions. However, some selected chroma skins (color-changed skins)can be purchased at special events for Blue Essence. Some champion skins bring new particles for visual effects, quotes and sound effects. Each skin has its own splashart, which is displayed in the champion selection and loading screen. Since patch 7.16, the custom champion image is also matched to the skin in the game itself.
What is actually… “League of Legends”?
“League of Legends is one of the most successful e-sports titles in the world. But what is it actually about? And what makes the game so popular? An explanation for beginners.
What is League of Legends (“LoL”) about?
In a classic game of “League of Legends,” two teams each have five characters called champions, each with individual characteristics. The main goal of each team is to destroy the opponent’s Nexus (a main building). Before this can be attacked, however, several defenses must be torn down on at least one of the three central level routes (lanes). Similar to “Dota 2”, the heroes receive continuous support on their campaign from AI-controlled units called minions. They storm the battlefield at regular intervals and independently attack enemies or enemy buildings – but only on the three main paths of the map. Those who roam around in the surrounding jungle will have to do without minion help. As usual in the MOBA genre, the champions reach higher levels by collecting experience points. In the course of the match, they learn numerous new abilities. Provided they have enough gold, the player can also strengthen himself with new equipment. Each of the 141 hero characters that the player can currently choose from is assigned to one of six classes. Warriors can deal out a lot of damage, tanks take a lot of punishment, mages have powerful special abilities, and supporters can, among other things, replenish the mana energy of allies or heal their comrades-in-arms.
