After the latest League of Legends patch came out today, we can already admire the changes of the next patch on the PBE. In LoL Patch 11.13, players will get several new skins that are extraterrestrially good – get it? Because of astronauts? There’s also a Tahm Kench mini rework.
However, one question remains. We’ve just had the Dr. Mundo rework, then the upcoming Tahm Kench rework…. When will our special dragon Aurelion Sol finally get a rework? Please Riot, he needs it so badly.
- Have you ever wondered who are the best Pro Players of all time – except Faker? Okay, there are a few other Koreans on the list and also of course a few LEC players.
Okay, enough begging for Aurelion Sol, let’s get started with LoL Patch 11.13!
When is the release of LoL Patch 11.13?
According to Riot’s patch routine, LoL Patch 11.13 will be released on Wednesday, June 23. Just like every patch, we’ll continue playing on the current LoL Patch 11.12, which came out today, for two more weeks, and then turn our attention to the next one.
New Skins LoL Patch 11.13
Four brand new skins are released with LoL Patch 11.13. Corki, Maokai, Veigar and Rammus get new astronaut skins and boooy, they look cuddly. Maokai throws little space meeps through the gap and even Corki is really cute in his little UFO.
Veigar is one of the worst midlane champions. We fight fire with fire and bad champions with bad champions. Let’s just learn some Akali or Yone. Or we can go completely crazy and try Annie.
Those aren’t the only skins, by the way, friends. Remember Riot’s announcement on PROJECT: Bastion that they were definitely going to release another Prestige skin? Well, it’s here and it’s pretty wack – but that’s just my personal opinion. Prestige PROJECT: Zed will definitely be available in LoL Patch 11.13!
LoL Patch 11.13 Mobility Changes
Riot has been wanting to change Mobility in the game a bit for a while now, and now it’s time in LoL Patch 11.13. It hits the stacking of Movement Speed through items.
Items like Stridebreaker will no longer have an integrated Dash. Garen, Urgot, and Sett are in the corner crying right now. Other items like Force of Nature will even lose their Movement Speed completely.
Here is a complete list of the adjusted items in LoL Patch 11.13:
- Stridebreaker
- Trinity Power
- Power of nature
- Black splitter
- Plate of the dead man
- Dance of death
- Galactic Force
- Prowler’s Claw
- Shurelya’s Battle Chant
- Lich Curse
- Cosmic Drive
- Nimbus Cloak
Tahm Kench revision in LoL Patch 11.13
Currently, we can test the Tahm Kench rework on the PBE servers and probably it will go live with LoL Patch 11.13. But what is actually new about the Kench? Let’s take a look at his new abilities first?
According to this update, Tahm Kench can be played either on the plane or as a support. The decision is up to you.
- Passive – An acquired key: His passive has remained almost the same. He deals extra magic damage with his auto attacks and gets stacks, which were the most important thing in his kit before.
- Q – Tongue Lash: Again, almost everything has remained the same. Tahm Kench sees an opponent and licks them once properly at range. The opponent is slowed and gets magic damage. With the changes to W and R, Tahm Kench can now no longer eat Minions. You also heal a bit with each auto attack.
- W – Abyssal Dive: This is one of the abilities that has been changed. Tahm Kench dives down and comes back up in a different location. If there are enemies at the destination, he throws them up. The W skill has a 16-20 second cooldown and the range also increases with level.
- E – Thick Skin: Nothing has changed with this ability. Like his Passive, the E is one of his most important abilities to not die and stay safe in the lane. Especially with the Q-Heal a nice combo.
- R – Devour: Another changed ability. Tahm Kench still eats champions. To get this far, you need three stacks of the passive. A stack lasts for three seconds, then it disappears. When you eat enemies and spit them back out, you deal magic damage. With other champions between your cheeks, you’ll be slower, of course, but at least allies get a shield when you spit them out. Of course, the snack from allies can also be linked to your W.
So Tahm Kench will really have to think about when to eat champions and when not to. The cooldown is insanely long this time. Watch your stacks too folks, you know the drill.

Champion skin
Champion skin (or skin for short) refers to the color scheme or appearance of a champion. Most champion skins can be purchased in the Riot Shop with Riot Points, while others are/were only available for special events/promotions. However, some selected chroma skins (color-changed skins)can be purchased at special events for Blue Essence. Some champion skins bring new particles for visual effects, quotes, and sound effects. Each skin has its own splash art, which is displayed in the champion selection and loading screen. Since patch 7.16, the custom champion image is also matched to the skin in the game itself.
What is actually… “League of Legends”?
“League of Legends is one of the most successful esports titles in the world. But what is it actually about? And what makes the game so popular? An explanation for beginners.
What is League of Legends (“LoL”) about?
In a classic game of “League of Legends,” two teams each have five characters called champions, each with individual characteristics. The main goal of each team is to destroy the opponent’s Nexus (a main building). Before this can be attacked, however, several defenses must be torn down on at least one of the three central level routes (lanes). Similar to “Dota 2”, the heroes receive continuous support on their campaign from AI-controlled units called minions. They storm the battlefield at regular intervals and independently attack enemies or enemy buildings – but only on the three main paths of the map. Those who roam around in the surrounding jungle will have to do without minion help. As usual in the MOBA genre, the champions reach higher levels by collecting experience points. In the course of the match, they learn numerous new abilities. Provided they have enough gold, the player can also strengthen himself with new equipment. Each of the 141 hero characters that the player can currently choose from is assigned to one of six classes. Warriors can deal out a lot of damage, tanks take a lot of punishment, mages have powerful special abilities, and supporters can, among other things, replenish the mana energy of allies or heal their comrades-in-arms.
