League of Legends Guides- Emote and Lane Announcement

So you downloaded Wild Rift on December 10 and had a great time playing against other people in some fun Mobile games. But you keep seeing others spamming a thumbs up emote over their champion head? How did that come about?

Well, don’t worry, for some of the smaller, trickier details of Wild Rift, we have the solutions. How to emote and how to pick your lane aren’t the most important aspects…. But it’s nice to let others know where you want to play or give them a thumbs up when they get a triple kill. It’s easy to do, with a tap on your smartphone – as long as you have a cell phone plan with enough GB…

Well, you first need emotes – yeah big shock. To get some emotes, since using only the thumbs-up emote that you get for free at the beginning gets boring quickly, you have to collect Poro coins or play events.

Collecting emotes is simple. By completing missions, players can earn Poro Coins, which can be exchanged for emotes in the store. Players can also obtain event-specific emotes by playing through events. Currently, the Noxian Brotherhood event is running, where players can get an emote related to Darius and Draven.

So, now you have the emotes, now what? You go to the main menu and click on the star icon on the bottom left. Click on Emotes and drag your emotes into the squares on the right.

Once you are in the game, you can use these emotes by clicking on the chat option on the right side. At first you will land on a page with several shouts, but in a tab on the right you can find the emotes column. There you can see all your saved emotes and you can now use them.

Players will also be able to emote in the MVP lobby after a match. So if you enjoyed playing alongside your team, send them a cute emote and then head to the queue for the next match in Wild Rift.

How do I announce my position?

Soraka is a good starting champion for beginners.

You choose Soraka and want to play in the Dragon lane, but see someone else hovering Blitzcrank? Well, then it’s time to announce your lane before the other person takes away your desired position. What else should Soraka go to anyway except as support?

This is a very simple mechanism. In the lobby before the game, there is a small “location” icon on the bottom left. Clicking on it, the player can call up which lanes he wants to go to. There is also a chat enabled where you can easily talk to other players.

Sure, calling out a lane doesn’t automatically mean the other players will listen, but at least you’ve made your intention clear and can justify why you went to a certain lane.
