It’s Dr. Mundo’s turn in the Champion Guide. In our League of Legends Champion Guide series, we will introduce you to the most important mechanics of all League of Legends Champions. We’ll show you gameplay, runes, items and generally everything there is to know about these champions. Today we’re going to talk about the mad doctor. Mundo looks like a champion turned nightmare. With this champion guide, your gameplay will be absolutely dreamlike.

The fact that Dr. Mundo has now just recently gotten rework catapults him up the list of our Champion Guides. There are a few he can’t overtake, though, and we’ve already checked them off. On the top lane, for example, there’s Aatrox. If you prefer the jungle, I highly recommend Kindred. And if you like to get lost in the midline, ADC, or support position, we have Akali, Jinx, or Lux for example.

Dr. Mundo was a pretty boring champion before his rework. If the Ultimate was up, you could jump into the fights. If not, it was dead. Your only reason for existence then was to soak up damage before you died, like a punching bag. To a large extent, it remained the same, so this Mundo Guide will be a pleasantly short one.

A Champion in the Guide: What can the new Dr. Mundo do?

Dr. Mundo is a tank who mainly wants to run down opponents. In this Dr. Mundo Guide, I explicitly refer to the Jungle Position. That’s where Mundo has the highest win rate and where he works best. Mundo’s new kit is more about you having little life to do more damage. Also, the adjusted E is perfect for the Jungle.

Dr. Mundo’s Jungle Clear

Mundo, unlike other junglers in the current meta like Xin Zhao or Fiddlesticks, is naturally very slow when it comes to taking camps. However, thanks to his new E skill, you have a chance to be done with Full Clear between 3:15 and 3:20 and fight for the little fissure crawler at level 4. The W also allows you to pull Group and Bluebuff together with ease and finish them off at the same time.

So when you’re stomping through the jungle and slaughtering the local fauna, make sure you always line up the raptors or small rugs in a row before throwing one of their dead brethren into their midst. Utilize Mundo’s maximum Tankiness

This Dr. Mundo guide is full of contradictions, I know. But if you want to become a real tank with Mundo, you should probably drop one of the items above and put Gargoyle’s Stoneplate on it for double HP (or at least the monumental shield). If you use the W properly and fire up your Ultimate once you’re really low, enemies will have to kill you about 3 times before you’re really dead.

What is dead can never die! You can operate according to this motto. Mundo is a doctor, after all, so you have to take some responsibility. You can do justice to the responsibility even better if you play with Dr. Mundo’s passive ability, as the guide has always advised you to do. Canisters fall to the ground, so pick them up. Actually, you are just Zac without Blop.
