On August 30, 2016, World of Warcraft’s sixth expansion, Legion, was released. Six years later, we still reminisce about the last really good WoW expansion. Legion was possibly so successful in part because it played on the nostalgia of the fanbase. Iconic Warcraft characters like Illidan, Gul’dan and even Sargeras at the end were at the forefront of the lush lore, which often made us shed a tear as well. After all, Legion claimed some important lives of beloved characters like Tirion Fordring and Varian Wrynn, who stars in the expansion’s cinematic trailer. Artifact Weapons
Not having to farm weapons anymore was a blessing. However, the grind for artifact power at the beginning of the expansion was also a negative aspect of Legion, as was the hunt for random Legendarys.

Mythic-Plus
