You’ve been let out onto the FUT turf in FIFA 22 this Christmas and all you’re encountering are sweaters and Ultimate Teams that are completely tearing you apart? We’ve got some tips for you on how to still make FIFA fun.
You just got FIFA 22 for Christmas and now you don’t see any land in FUT? Everyone has better teams and is destroying you? We’ve already told you how to get a strong Ultimate Team if you don’t get in until winter.
But now we’re taking the FUT frust game a little further and giving you tips on how to keep your controllers whole, save your nerves, and avoid turning off the console in a huff.
5 tips on how to enjoy FUT
We all know it: The third defeat in a row because some bug cost you the victory again. Instead of joy and fun, you turn off your console in frustration – after you’ve dismantled your controller into all its parts because it just flew into the wall.
We’ll tell you how to have fun in Ultimate Team for the rest of the FIFA year.
Just a personal one. Do you want to reach rank I at least three times at the end of the – Season in the new Weekend League system? Or at the end of the – Season , a squad consisting only of players from your favorite club?
Be creative and think of something that will keep you playing longer. This way FUT is much more fun than just grinding for rewards.
2. don’t buy FIFA Points
“What, but I’m already so late and real money is the only way I can catch up with everyone else.”
Cry softly. Of course you are late for sick day 1 trading. But you don’t have to spend a fortune on FIFA to have fun in Ultimate Team, we promise. We tell you how you can get lots of coins without FIFA Points. And the frustration is definitely less if you don’t go down regularly with a 500€ team. Trust us.
3. mix meta and favorites
Sure, the meta players are always hugely important, as they can just be blatant to play. Who would also leave a Kylian Mbappé/Lionel Messi/Cristiano Ronaldo out in FIFA just because you might not like them personally? Almost unthinkable…
But that’s exactly our tip. You shouldn’t be afraid of setting up meta players, even more so if you happen to get them. However, you don’t have to sell your house and yard to get the best FUT Hero. Instead, get players that you like, that you have a bond with, and that you continue to believe in even if you lose several times in a row.
4. take breaks
Sounds obvious, but can be a gamechanger. Things just don’t work out? You give away everything in front and get one lame goal after the other?
Forcier nothing, even professionals have a daily form. Sometimes it goes and sometimes it doesn’t. And even if you get 3 wins in a row in the WL: A break at the right time ensures more concentration for the “restart”.
5. play for fun
It’s clear: If you lose all the time and don’t see any land, FIFA is no fun. But rethink your claim. You are not an esport player. You are not a paid professional. You play FIFA in your free time and FUT to hunt for your dreamteam.
If it doesn’t work out, then wipe your mouth and try to do more right in FIFA 23. Sweating in between can be a bit of a hassle – but in the long run it will only cost you nerves. Never let it get you down and stay relaxed. Nobody saw your embarrassing and stupid own goal that cost you the victory in the 90th minute.
