The Netflix animated series Arcane is one of the highlights of the year, and not just for gaming fans. This was mainly due to the well-written characters, which also include Villain Silco belongs to. We would like to introduce him to you in more detail here and also investigate the question of whether he is a playable in League of Legends is.
In Arcane: Who is villain Silco?
Unlike our two main characters Vi and Jinx it is a matter of Silco is an original character. He was thus specially for the animated series created. In the 1st act of the story we get to know him still as a relatively small light, who begins to live in the shadows of the dangerous underworld Fence to make his own plans. He slowly gathered troops around him, to take control, even if he had to turn against his “brother” to do so.
As such he called Vander, who was the two sisters Vi and Powder/Jinx took in after the death of their parents. At some point, however, there was a break between Silco and his former friend. The reasons for this, however, are unknown. Eventually, the villain turned on Vander, who lost his life trying to save his adopted daughter Vi. From then on, fate had still big plans with Silco.
In the period between Act 1 and Act 2 of “Arcane”, the once small-time gangster rose to become a real crime lord who is in control of Piltover could take over.
During this time, little Powder, whom he took in after Vander’s death, became one of his most important subordinates. His goal was to gain Zaun’s independence by force if necessary. For this Silco used among others Shimmer, a drug that gives superhuman strength.

Ultimately threatened a War between Piltover and fence, which Silco could have prevented by means of a deal. One condition was the Delivery of Jinx, whom he loved like his own daughter. In the – Season finale, however, things were to turn out quite differently, as Silco was tragically killed by her of all peoplewhen he tried to eliminate Vi. Thus Silco’s story came to an untimely end.
After Arcane: Is Silco Playable in League of Legends?
But now we come to the big question mentioned at the beginning: Is Silco playable in League of Legends? To make a long story short, no.
Currently, the character is not among the available champions. However, if you still want to play the charismatic villain, there is a small alternative. This is the “LoL spin-off TFT: Teamfight Tactics, which is a so-called Autobattler Autobattler]. In it you’ll assemble a team of different characters that will automatically go into battle for you.
Riot Games, who are also developing this game, announced in a post on their website that villain Silco will soon be be available as a playable champion will. This is a first, because he is the first character that does not have its origin in the main game “LoL”. In return, they suggest that he can not the last “Arcane” visitor remain.
The work on the character, by the way, should already have started earlyHowever, those responsible do not yet want to reveal what abilities the villain in “TFT” will have.
