Icon Swaps 3 in FIFA 22

In 22 Ultimate the new Icon Swaps event has started. The first nine tokens are already playable, which can be redeemed for top players or potential packs for the upcoming event.

The Icon Swaps are one of the most popular events in at all. In Ultimate Team mode, powerful in-game items are unlockable for free without having to pay coins.

Among the main attractions of Icon Swaps 3 are icons of Lothar Matthäus (Icon Moments) and Ruud Gullit (Prime Icon). But even for a maximum of half of the tokens you can choose Orenje keeper Edwin van der Sar or left-back legend Roberto Carlos.

When do the Icon Swaps 3 start and end?

There are two phases for the Icon Swaps. The first one has already started on Monday evening at 7pm and continues from April 25 to May 23. The second phase continues from May 23 to June 20.

What are the rewards in Icon Swaps 3?

There are a maximum of 18 player tokens to be obtained during the in-game event. There are nine tokens per phase. So if you want to save up all the special items for a really big reward (17 tokens), you won’t be able to collect them until the second phase. These can then be exchanged via SBC.

  • 8 Tokens: Icon Moments Pack (93+)
  • 9 Token: George Best Icon-Moments
  • 11 Tokens: Icon Moments player choice (1 of 3 with 91 GES or higher).
  • 11 Tokens: Samuel Eto’o Icon Moments
  • 13 Tokens: Icon Moments Pack (94+)
  • 14 Token: Lothar Matthäus Icon-Moments
  • 15 Token: Icon Moments player choice (1 of 3 with 93 GES or higher).
  • 16 Tokens: Icon Moments player choice (1 of 5 with no overall strength guarantee).
  • 17 Token: Ang/With-Icon-Moments Player Choice (1 of 3 attackers or midfielders with 93 GES or higher).
  • 17 Token: Ruud Gullit Prime Icon

To earn tokens, objectives or milestones must be completed in FUT. These can then be traded in for Squad Building Challenges (SBCs) for rewards worth watching.

Already at the start of Icon Swaps 3 several milestones are available, through which you can unlock a total of nine tokens. This means that you can already earn half of the maximum possible special items.

Icon exchange

  • 1st Silver: Win 6 Squad Battles matches (minimum difficulty: World Class) with 11 Silver players in your starting eleven.

Reward: Special item Hou Sen (Untradeable)

  • 2nd MLS: Win 6 Squad Battles matches (minimum difficulty: World Class) with 11 MLS players in your starting eleven.

Reward: Special item Slattery (Untradeable)

  • 3rd Selecao: Win 6 Squad Battles matches (minimum difficulty: World Class) with 11 Brazilians in your starting eleven.

Reward: Special Item Ceter (Untradeable)

  • 4th English Elegance: Win 6 Squad Battles matches (minimum difficulty: World Class) with 11 English players in your starting eleven.

Reward: Special Van Bladeren item (Untradeable)

  • 5. club loyal players: win 6 Squad Battles matches (minimum difficulty: world class) with 11 first-possession players in your starting eleven.

Reward: Special Burgess Item (Untradeable)

  • 6th FUT Champions: Win 6 FUT Champions games

Reward: Special Item Yuan Mincheng (Untradeable)

Icon Swap – A

  • 6 Wins: Win 6 games in the live FUT friendly: “One ”, putting at least 8 first-team Serie A players in your starting eleven.
  • Top Finish: Score 1 goal in 6 separate matches in Live FUT Friendlies: “One League” via a cut-in shot with Serie A players.
  • 5 Steep Passes: Become a provider via a steep pass in 5 separate matches in the Live FUT Friendly: “One League”.

Reward: Special item Sasaki (Untradeable)

Icon swap – Bundesliga

  • 6 Wins: Win 6 games in the live FUT friendly: “One League” and put at least 8 first-team Bundesliga players in your starting eleven.
  • 10 goals: Score in 10 separate games in Live FUT Friendly: “One League” with Bundesliga players.
  • 5 Steep Passes: Score assists via steep pass in 5 separate matches with Bundesliga players in Live FUT Friendlies: “One League”.

Reward: Special item Van Hoorenbeeck (Untauschbar)

Icon Swap – Ligue 1

  • 6 Wins: Win 6 games in the live FUT friendly: “One League” and put at least 8 first-team Ligue 1 players in your starting eleven.
  • 10 goals: Score in 10 separate matches in Live FUT Friendly: “One League” with Ligue 1 players.
  • Excellent crosses: Become a forerunner in 5 separate matches in Live FUT Friendly: “One League” with Ligue 1 players.

Reward: Special item Al Saeed (Unexchangeable)

Preparation for TOTS

If you prefer to save up for Team of the – Season (TOTS), you have the option to trade in your tokens for several 25x packs. Because in each of these there are 25 rare gold players with high ratings. So if you want to bet on luck, you could get absolute top cards from these packs at the start of the TOTS series.
