This is what happened:

• xQc is the biggest streamer on Twitch. He is a variety streamer and shows all kinds of games – including GTA Online, which he even plays “too much”.
• In one of his recent streams, xQc had to deal with a “stream sniper” in Fortnite, which kept following him around.
• When his father happened to be in the room with him, xQc addressed him directly – and decided to talk about the sniper’s behavior.

xQc talks to the dad: “Put him on the mic, man”.

How exactly did this situation come about? Since streamers like xQc usually broadcast their game sessions live, it’s quite easy to find them in corresponding games. Viewers who take advantage of such a thing are called “stream snipers.”

Such people often take advantage of knowing where the streamers are located and thus secure a victory. Or, as in the case of xQc, they simply want to be close to their stars and play with them.

While playing Fortnite, xQc kept getting in the way of one of his fans. He didn’t let up and chased him for several rounds until the streamer finally confronted him. At this point, a second voice can be heard, which apparently belongs to the sniper’s father.

This is the conversation: xQc introduces with similar words that everyone has probably been afraid of in school: “Is this your son? I’d like to talk to you about his behavior on the Internet. It’s a little strange.”

He complains directly to the father about the son disturbing him while he is playing. He says it is unpleasant to be followed all the time. Even in response to the father’s assurance that the sniper is a “good boy,” xQc thinks:

He may be a good kid, but he’s got it in for me, man. I’m trying to have fun, but he’s just got it in for me. He’s making it really hard for me to play the game.

“I bet you wish xQc was your daddy”.

The conversation takes another unexpected turn, however, when the father explains that his son is a huge xQc fan. He had even talked about how much he adores the streamer just before the session:

I was still talking to him earlier and told him that he certainly wishes xQc was his father […] He spends more time with you than with me.

The son sounds a little embarrassed by the conversation, but xQc is quite moved and surprised by the revelation. From this point of view, he can apparently understand that you are pursuing him and desperately want to play with him.

The twist is unexpected mainly because xQc is usually known for being quite rough. He likes to yell at his audience and even makes up new words when he’s really on a roll.
