With a press release, Amazon officials have announced what the Prime Gaming offer will look like in August 2022. Look forward to tens of in-game goodies and free games! There were also some statistics on the Prime Gaming year 2021.
July is coming to an end, and those responsible at Amazon are taking the opportunity to get us in the mood for the Prime Gaming offer in August 2022. Those who like to play Blizzard games can once again get one or two goodies for free. Speaking of which: Currently, there’s the Transmog Helmet Hood of Greedy Darkness for WoW!
Free content in August 2022
Starting August 1, 2022, Amazon customers with an active Prime subscription can get the following games through Prime Gaming.
- StarCraft: Remastered – In this revamped sci-fi game that paved the way for Esports, players can command the mechanized Terrans, the psi-powered Protoss, or the insectoid Zerg as they vie for control of the map with its eight unique environments.

- Zak McKracken and the Alien Mindbenders – In this classic point-and-click adventure game, only ZakMcKracken, a reporter for the disreputable National Inquisitor, can save the day. Players travel back to 1997 and cooperate with Zak in a world where aliens have built a dumbing down machine that sucks people’s IQs until only single digits remain.
- Beasts of Maravilla Island – Players take on the role of a young wildlife photographer who travels the island of Maravilla and its stunning ecosystem to discover extraordinary creatures. Players explore the creatures’ behavior and, most importantly, photograph them in all their glory.
- Recompile – Players take control of a semi-human program that struggles to avoid being deleted in the 3D world of a sprawling mainframe. Players must compile new features for intense combat, superpowers, overcoming difficult 3D platforms, and logic-based hack mechanics in the game environment.
- ScourgeBringer – In this dynamic platformer, players help Kyhra as she explores the great unknown and slashes her way through ancient machines that guard the secret of her past and possibly the redemption of mankind.
- Family Mysteries: Poisonous Promises – Players plunge into the world of corrupt elites, seductive women and corrupt cops and fight for power, the ultimate currency.
- Prime Gaming members can get new in-game content for Pokémon Go, Fall Guys, Roblox, League of Legends, Two Point Hospital, and much more secure.
Here are some of the dates that are already fixed:
- August 2: New World – Assassin’s Whisper Bundle
- August 2: Elder Scrolls Online – 1 Noweyr Mount, 1 Noweyr Pet, 2 Crates
- August 2: Red Dead Online – 10 Gold Bars off a Collector’s Bag
- August 15: Dead by Daylight – 1 The Maiden Guard Outfit
- August 16: Naraka: Bladepoint – 1 Green Fang Weapon Skin
Huge growth, lots of content
In the course of the press release, Amazon executives also gave out a whole bunch of statistics on Prime Gaming. Over the past two years, the number of Prime members has increased by more than 120 percent. In the process, more than 420 million Prime Gaming offers were redeemed last year. There are said to have been more than 675 in-game goodies in total.
Prime members also secured more than 80 million games for free, with more than 100 titles to choose from. Incidentally, this year Prime Gaming already stands at 75 free games, including some highlights such as Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, Mass Effect Legendary Edition, Need for Speed Heat, Dead Space 2, Madden 22, Stellaris, Total War: Warhammer or World War Z: Aftermath.
