Parallel to the release of WoW Patch 9.2.7, the Blizzard developers have played a hotfix package on the live servers of Shadowlands and Burning Crusade Classic. We tell you which bugs have been fixed and which adjustments have been made.

You must have noticed it: Patch 9.2.7 for WoW: Shadowlands is released today, August 17, 2022.. At the same time, the Blizzard developers have also played a hotfix package on the live servers of Shadowlands and Burning Crusade Classic last night.

The highlight adjustments read as follows:

• Shadowlands: The Penumbra thread now costs 11 gold instead of 9 at merchants.
• Shadowlands: The cap for conquest points has been removed.
• Shadowlands: The Spoils of war- Buff is now active until the fourth – Season of Shadowlands ends.
• Shadowlands: Sky princess Tovra from the Grimmgleisdepot got changes again. The area of Diffusion energy now appears in a different position, and there is also now a new visual warning. Whirling spear on the other hand, is now correctly assigned the stun mechanic, so the loss of control interface works correctly.
• Burning Crusade Classic: Fixed a bug that prevented the PvP leaderboard from updating correctly.

Dungeons and Raids

• Mythic+
  • Grimrail depot
    • Skylord Tovra
      • Rakun’s Diffused Energy zone positions have been adjusted, but also now show a warning visual at their location prior to becoming dangerous.
      • Spinning Spear is now correctly assigned to the Stun mechanic, allowing the loss of control UI to function correctly.

Items and Rewards

• Increased the vendor cost of Penumbra Thread to 11 gold (was 9 gold).
  • Developers’ note: This price change is to balance the decreased cost of reagents with the change to a regional commodity auction house.

Player versus Player

• The Conquest cap has been removed.
• Spoils of War 25% Conquest and 40% Honor increased buff is now available until Shadowlands – Season 4 ends.

Burning Crusade Classic

• Fixed an issue that prevented the PvP leaderboards from updating as expected.

Hotfixes are updates that are applied server-side without the need to download new data. Some of the changes listed below will take effect as soon as Blizzard implements them, while others will only take effect after an announced realm restart. Please note that some issues cannot be fixed without a client-side patch.
