Heroes Dota 2 – Windranger

Windranger: “I run like the wind.”

Lyralei, the Windranger Windranger, is an heroine from DotA and Dota 2. The archer Windranger belongs to the Radiant and is a ranged combat unit. Her abilities make Windranger faster or make her shoot faster, among other things. This allows her to defeat enemies with lightning speed or escape from dicey situations. In the game, she can take on the role of a disabler, nuker, support and escaper. With her Shackleshot ability, she can stun and restrain enemies by tying them to each other or to surrounding trees, and with the channeling Powershot ability, she can shoot an arrow that has great penetrating power and deals area damage. Windranger’s Windrun ability makes it possible for her to escape from dangerous situations by greatly gaining speed, dodging physical damage, and slowing down nearby enemies. Her Ultimate ability Focus Fire allows Windranger to shoot at a target unit at lightning speed but with reduced damage, dealing massive damage to enemy heroes in a short amount of time. If you have Aghanim’s Scepter, the ultimate’s damage reduction percentage is reduced even more, and at the highest level, it is completely removed.

Windranger- Hype

Evasive and swift, the nimble Windranger is always seeking the right angle to attack. Whether she’s clearing the way with a draw of her deadly powershot, or shackling enemies together to pepper them with arrows, she’s always on the move.

Windranger- Biography

“Many a secret slumbers well hidden in the depths of the western forests. One of them is Lyralei, the master shooter of the forests and the child of the wind. On the day of her birth, her family died in a devastating storm – the wind tore down her house and all her belongings were lost in the air. Since then they are called Windranger. Only the newborn survived in the debris field between death and destruction. When the storm was over and silence fell, it was the wind itself that heard the tender cries of the child lying there lonely and abandoned in the grass. The wind took pity on the child, and so it lifted it into the air and deposited it on the doorstep of a neighboring village. In the years that followed, he returned again and again, watching from a distance as the offspring developed. After long years of fierce , Windranger has now grown into a markswoman whose arrows no longer miss a target. She runs as fast as if the wind were always at her back and torments her opponents with a hail of arrows, almost as if she had become a force of nature herself.”

Heroes (Dota 2)

The heroines and heroes (original: “Heroes”) are the primary playable entities in DotA and Dota 2. In a game, each player takes control of one of the 112 playable heroines and heroes. Each hero and heroine is a character with different attributes, abilities and roles. Each heroine and hero can also be categorized by the default attacks, which happen either in melee or ranged attacks.

Valve plans to develop their own heroines and heroes for Dota 2 after the release of the classic heroines and heroes from DotA Allstars, as Erik Johnson previously announced in a 2014 interview. After the release of Arc Warden in December 2015 and that of Underlord in August 2016, the hero developed exclusively for Dota 2, Monkey King, appeared in winter 2016, although it was at least based on concepts from classic DotA and appeared there as an event boss opponent. The Dueling Fates update announced in August 2017 confirmed the release of two completely redesigned heroes.
