Heroes Dota 2 – Visage

Visage: “Do you fear death?”

Visage, the Bound Form of Necro’lic, is an hero from DotA and Dota 2. He is a ranged Dire unit that is assisted by two to three Familiars in combat. In the game, he can take on the role of a Nukers, Durablers and Disablers. His ability Grave Chill allows him to steal attack and a percentage of movement speed from enemy heroes. Through Soul Assumption, Visage can deal damage to individual units based on the Soul Charges they collect. Soul Charges are gained when heroes near him take a certain amount of damage. Visage’s passive ability Gravekeeper’s Cloak increases his resistance to physical and magical damage. This resistance has instances that are lost when attacked and must be regenerated. With his Ultimate, Visage can summon two, or with Aghanim’s Scepter, three Familiars to fight alongside him. Not only are these almost completely immune to magic, but they can stun more enemy units with their Stone Form ability by turning into stone. In this situation, they are invulnerable and heal themselves. Killed Familiars give the enemy a reward of 100 gold. Even though Familiars have a very high resistance to magic, Visage has an above average weakness to magic with a base magic resistance of 10%.

Visage- Hype

As his deadly familiars scout the field, Visage cloaks himself in armor and seeks the next battle. Once near a skirmish, he gathers soul energy from damage inflicted upon nearby fighters before releasing it in a devastating attack.

Visage- Biography

“Above the gates to the Entangled Labyrinth loom the crouching outlines of sneering gargoyles, the paths to this very thing for all eternity under their fixed gaze. Cattle and bird, man and monster, all creatures that die and choose the to the afterlife must once pass their gaze. The decision of an unbound spirit to pass through the veil of death is irrevocable. When a restless soul, whether by luck, skill or finesse, manages to escape from heaven and hell, it is the dreaded gargoyle Visage in the bound form of the eternal spirit Necro’lic who is dispatched to retrieve it. Merciless and efficient, untroubled by the laws of death and exhaustion, Visage pursues his prey without mercy or abandon, willing to destroy all those who dare offer protection to the elusive being. Everything and everyone who tries to defy the laws of the afterlife will never rest again, and although it is true that the dead can be resurrected, it is only a matter of time before Visage finds them and leads them back to the place of their destiny.”

Heroes (Dota 2)

The heroines and heroes (original: “Heroes”) are the primary playable entities in DotA and Dota 2. In a game, each player takes control of one of the 112 playable heroines and heroes. Each hero and heroine is a character with different attributes, abilities and roles. Each heroine and hero can also be categorized by the default attacks, which happen either in melee or ranged attacks.

Valve plans to develop their own heroines and heroes for Dota 2 after the release of the classic heroines and heroes from DotA Allstars, as Erik Johnson previously announced in a 2014 interview. After the release of Arc Warden in December 2015 and that of Underlord in August 2016, the first hero developed exclusively for Dota 2, Monkey King, appeared in winter 2016, although it was at least based on concepts from classic DotA and appeared there as an event boss opponent. The Dueling Fates update announced in August 2017 confirmed the release of two completely redesigned heroes.
