Heroes Dota 2 – Tinker

Tinker: “Sometimes I think you only want me for my hazard suit!”

Boush the Tinker is an hero from DotA and Dota 2. A ranged Radiant unit, Tinker fights with his homemade battle suit to avoid the use of magical abilities. In the game, he can take on the role of a Nuker and Pusher. Using lasers, Tinker can directly damage enemy heroes and blind them, causing their physical attacks to miss for three seconds. Heat-Seeking Missile shoots missiles at the nearest enemy hero within a 2500 radius, causing them to take damage. March of the Machines lets Tinker summon robot minions that cannot be destroyed and temporarily make entire areas difficult for enemies to walk on as they deal damage. Tinker’s Ultimate Rearm, after a brief channeling, resets the cooldown of most of his abilities and items and has no cooldown. So far, Tinker is the only hero where Aghanim’s Scepter improves two of his ordinary abilities rather than the Ultimate. The Scepter doubles the range of Lasers and the number of projectiles from Heat-Seeking Missile.

Tinker- Hype

Tinker demolishes foes with swarms of machines and a host of deadly gadgets. If he can gather the resources he needs, the power that instantly refreshes his abilities enables him to lead his team from every front.

Tinker- Biography

“Boush the Tinker belongs to a race known for its intelligence and cunning, but also for its delicate relationship with any kind of magic. It is their pride that makes them use only those powers of nature that can be explained by scientific laws alone. But this very renunciation has already caused great trouble, as Boush can confirm only too well. Boush the Tinker, a high-ranking researcher of the laws of nature, once led a large-scale investigation into the interrelationships of nature, building an underground laboratory in the extinct wastelands of the myth-enshrouded Violet Plateau. In their contempt for the mages who had brought so much evil upon the world, Boush and his associates themselves fell prey to their wantonness and tore open the portal to a distant, incomprehensible world from which their nightmares come to life. A jet-black mist soon rose from the tunnel system beneath the Violet Plateau, from whose absolute darkness the ever-recurring screams of terror now emanate. Boush escaped as the sole survivor of the Violet Plateau incident with nothing but the shirt on his back and the device in his hands.”

Heroes (Dota 2)

The heroines and heroes (original: “Heroes”) are the primary playable entities in DotA and Dota 2. In a game, each player takes control of one of the 112 playable heroines and heroes. Each hero and heroine is a character with different attributes, abilities and roles. Each heroine and hero can also be categorized by the default attacks, which happen either in melee or ranged attacks.

Valve plans to develop their own heroines and heroes for Dota 2 after the release of the classic heroines and heroes from DotA Allstars, as Erik Johnson previously announced in a 2014 interview. After the release of Arc Warden in December 2015 and that of Underlord in August 2016, the hero developed exclusively for Dota 2, Monkey King, appeared in winter 2016, although it was at least based on concepts from classic DotA and appeared there as an event boss opponent. The Dueling Fates update announced in August 2017 confirmed the release of two completely redesigned heroes.
