Heroes Dota 2 – Storm Spirit

Storm Spirit: “Any last words?”

Raijin Thunderkeg, the Storm Spirit, is an hero from DotA and Dota 2. Storm Spirit is a true force of nature and a ranged Radiant unit. He can take on the roles of a Carry, Initiator, Escaper and Disabler in the game. Storm Spirit’s abilities are mainly characterized by a very low cooldown, so if you have enough mana, you can use them several times in a row. Static Remnant creates an image of Storm Spirit that lasts up to twelve seconds and explodes when enemy units approach it. Electric Vortex allows Storm Spirit to lock down enemy units, though this temporarily slows him down himself. His passive ability Overload charges a slowing area damage with each cast ability, which he unleashes on the next attack. However, Overload allows him to store a maximum of one charge. Storm Spirits Ultimate Ball Lightning has no cooldown and calculates its cost based on the current number of mana points he has. Ball Lightning allows him to transform into a cloud of energy that lets him get to a target point quickly, damaging passed enemies in the process. Storm Spirit cannot attack or be attacked normally in this state. Aghanim’s Scepter does not improve Storm Spirit’s Ultimate. The Three Spirits update, which also released the other elemental spirits Ember Spirit and Earth Spirit for Dota 2, changed some of Storm Spirit’s original design.

Storm Spirit- Hype

Storm Spirit is never one to miss a fight. Zipping from across the battlefield in a bolt of lightning, he strikes enemies from every direction with exploding remnants and charged attacks, then disappears while his enemies are still scrambling to react.

Storm Spirit- Biography

“Storm Spirit is literally a force of nature. The unbridled power of wind and weather bottled in human form. And what an impetuous, cheerful and uncontrollable form it is! As cheerful as a favorite uncle, he adds crackling energy to every scene. But it was not always so, its emergence was marked by tragedies. Generations ago, righteous people in the lowlands behind the wailing mountains suffered drought and famine. A simple elementalist named Thunderkeg used a forbidden spell to summon the spirit of the storm and ask it for rain. Enraged by the mortal’s arrogance, the Storm Celestial Raijin leveled the land with wind and flood. Thunderkeg was no match for the Celestial – until he cast a suicide spell that fused their fates: he imprisoned the Celestial in the cage of his own body. Trapped together, Thunderkeg’s immense sense of humor, coupled with Raijin’s mad energy, gave birth to the joyous Raijin Thunderkeg, a Celestial who travels the world in physical form.”

Heroes (Dota 2)

The heroines and heroes (original: “Heroes”) are the primary playable entities in DotA and Dota 2. In a game, each player takes control of one of the 112 playable heroines and heroes. Each hero and heroine is a character with different attributes, abilities and roles. Each heroine and hero can also be categorized by the default attacks, which happen either in melee or ranged attacks.

Valve plans to develop their own heroines and heroes for Dota 2 after the release of the classic heroines and heroes from DotA Allstars, as Erik Johnson previously announced in a 2014 interview. After the release of Arc Warden in December 2015 and that of Underlord in August 2016, the hero developed exclusively for Dota 2, Monkey King, appeared in winter 2016, although it was at least based on concepts from classic DotA and appeared there as an event boss opponent. The Dueling Fates update announced in August 2017 confirmed the release of two completely redesigned heroes.
