Queen of Pain: “There will be pain, there will be screaming.”
Akasha, the Queen of Pain, is an Intelligence heroine from DotA and Dota 2. She is a ranged Dire heroine. With her abilities, she can cause major area damage, as well as specifically damage and slow down individual units. In the game, Queen of Pain can take on the role of a nuker, a carry, and an escaper. Shadow Strike damages the selected target unit, dealing damage to it over time and slowing it down a lot at times. The slowdown caused by Shadow Strike is gradually reset. Blink allows you to teleport out of or into nearby areas, and Scream Of Pain deals relatively large area damage to enemies within a small radius. Queen of Pains Ultimate Sonic Wave allows her to deal large damage to any enemy units that are in the direction of the application. Aghanim’s Scepter increases the damage and reduces the cooldown of Sonic Wave.

Queen of Pain- Biography
“The cleric-king of Elze harbored a desire for pain – forbidden pain. In a less politically significant role, such a desire would be considered unwise, but in a monarch of his stature, the satisfaction of that desire would have compromised the integrity of the divine throne itself. So he turned to the demonologists in his dungeons and promised freedom to the one who would succeed in summoning a succubus of torture that would serve him alone. His wish manifested itself in Akasha, a creature that knew how to torment him with such delicious torment that he called her his secret queen. Soon he could not escape the attraction of her torments – his desire for the pleasures that only she could give him finally made him forget all his duties. Although the Queen of Pain could drive him to the brink of death, a rune spell kept her from killing him. Eventually, the neglect of royal duties led to an uprising of the people. They dragged him out of his chamber and pushed him off the summoner’s tower. At the moment of his death, the spell that the Queen of Pain had been under was extinguished. She was now free – free to inflict her torment on anyone she paid attention to.”
Heroes (Dota 2)
The heroines and heroes (original: “Heroes”) are the primary playable entities in DotA and Dota 2. In a game, each player takes control of one of the 112 playable heroines and heroes. Each hero and heroine is a character with different attributes, abilities and roles. Each heroine and hero can also be categorized by the default attacks, which happen either in melee or ranged attacks.
Valve plans to develop their own heroines and heroes for Dota 2 after the release of the classic heroines and heroes from DotA Allstars, as Erik Johnson previously announced in a 2014 interview. After the release of Arc Warden in December 2015 and that of Underlord in August 2016, the first hero developed exclusively for Dota 2, Monkey King, appeared in winter 2016, although it was at least based on concepts from classic DotA and appeared there as an event boss opponent. The Dueling Fates update announced in August 2017 confirmed the release of two completely redesigned heroes.
