Heroes Dota 2 – Outworld Devourer

Outworld Devourer: “I could hear your caterwauling from clear out on the rim.”

Harbinger, the Outworld Devourer, is an hero from DotA and Dota 2. He is a ranged combat unit of Dire. His abilities are massively dependent on the level of his intelligence or are related to his mana supplies. Therefore, he is most suitable for fighting against heroes with lower intelligence, but can also be effective against other intelligence heroes. In the game, it can play the role of a Carry. Orb adds an attack effect to the Outworld Devourer’s attack that deals pure damage and depends on a percentage of Harbinger’s remaining mana supply. The Outworld Devourer can add Arcane Orb damage to its attacks at any time, either permanently, individually, or not at all. Astral Imprisonment locks a hero in an astral prison where he cannot take damage, but also cannot use abilities or items. If the target is an enemy, Harbinger temporarily robs them of intelligence. The passive ability Essence Aura permanently increases Outworld Devourer’s Mana Supply and grants him and nearby allies a chance to have 25% of their Mana Supply replenished when casting abilities. The area-of-effect Ultimate Sanity’s Eclipse only damages enemy Heroes if they have less Intelligence than Harbinger. The greater the intelligence difference, the higher the damage from Sanity’s Eclipse. Aghanim’s Scepter increases the range and multiplier of Sanity’s Eclipse. It also locks up all enemies.

Outworld Devourer- Hype

Outwourld Devourer transforms intelligence into destructive power and also steals it from those he imprisons in his astral prison. After weakening his opponents with a bombardment of arcane energy, he destroys their minds with his ultimate ability. The survivors often lack the mana to continue fighting afterwards.

Outworld Devourer- Biography

“A member of a proud and commanding race, and the last surviving guardian of an outpost on the edge of the abyss, Harbinger roams the edge of the void. From his rugged, crystalline world, he watched the sky for ages, always at his post, intently searching for any movement in the bottomless night among the stars. Deeply imprinted in the radiant fabric of his intellect lies a vibrating pattern, like a prophecy. A dark music that warns of a possible evil that will awaken out there, beyond the frontier of creation, and turn its attention to our world. With his whole being focused on this task, the Outworld Devourer paid little attention to events closer to the sun. But the turmoil surrounding the Ancients, and the foreboding of a growing threat both within and without, eventually sent him flying toward the Sun to visit the scenes of war. Harbinger’s place in our own prophecies is clear: he is an omen of worse things to come. But his arrival itself is bad enough.”

Heroes (Dota 2)

The heroines and heroes (original: “Heroes”) are the primary playable entities in DotA and Dota 2. In a game, each player takes control of one of the 112 playable heroines and heroes. Each hero and heroine is a character with different attributes, abilities and roles. Each heroine and hero can also be categorized by the default attacks, which happen either in melee or ranged attacks.

Valve plans to develop their own heroines and heroes for Dota 2 after the release of the classic heroines and heroes from DotA Allstars, as Erik Johnson previously announced in a 2014 interview. After the release of Arc Warden in December 2015 and that of Underlord in August 2016, the hero developed exclusively for Dota 2, Monkey King, appeared in winter 2016, although it was at least based on concepts from classic DotA and appeared there as an event boss opponent. The Dueling Fates update announced in August 2017 confirmed the release of two completely redesigned heroes.
