Heroes Dota 2 – Night Stalker

Heroes (Dota 2)

The heroines and heroes (original: “Heroes”) are the primary playable entities in DotA and Dota 2. In a game, each player takes control of one of the 112 playable heroines and heroes. Each hero and heroine is a character with different attributes, abilities and roles. Each heroine and hero can also be categorized by the default attacks, which happen either in melee or ranged attacks.

Valve plans to develop their own heroines and heroes for Dota 2 after the release of the classic heroines and heroes from DotA Allstars, as Erik Johnson previously announced in a 2014 interview. After the release of Arc Warden in December 2015 and that of Underlord in August 2016, the hero developed exclusively for Dota 2, Monkey King, appeared in winter 2016, although it was at least based on concepts from classic DotA and appeared there as an event boss opponent. The Dueling Fates update announced in August 2017 confirmed the release of two completely redesigned heroes.

Night Stalker: “Day walker, night stalker.”

Balanar, the Night Stalker, is a hero from DotA and Dota 2. He is a melee unit of the Dire. In the game, he can take the role of a Durabler and Initiator. Night Stalker can damage enemy units or strengthen at night. Each of his abilities is related to the night. Void damages and slows down enemy units and Crippling Fear makes their attacks miss by a certain percentage. The effect of both abilities is amplified or prolonged at night. Nightstalker’s passive ability Hunter of the Night increases his movement and attack speed while it is night. With his Ultimate Darkness, Night Stalker can temporarily summon night, reducing the visibility of enemy units by an additional 25%. With Aghanim’s Scepter, Night Stalker is given a clear view of the entire map while his Ultimate is in effect.

Night Stalker- Hype

Once the sun goes down, Night Stalker’s hunt begins. Charging through the shadowy forests, he snares prey in a slowing void as he tears them to shreds. Should sunrise threaten to end his terror, he can darken the skies to extend his onslaught.

Night Stalker- Biography

“There is no history to Balanar, the Night Stalker, only tales. There are ancient tales, found in the lore of all races and cultures, of an impossible time before there was sunlight and daytime, when night was the sole ruler and the world was populated by dark creatures, creatures like the Night Stalker. It is said that at sunrise of the first day, all creatures of the night perished. All but one. Balanar, the embodiment of evil, delights in his malevolence. He created the fear of darkness, the Black Man, and as long as there were children, it was he who was conjured up as a spirit to terrify them. A role that gave him pleasure, at the same time it is not an empty theatricality. He actually sneaks up on the unwary, the defenseless, all those who wander beyond the lighted paths or ignored the warnings of their community. Night Stalker provides proof that every child’s worst nightmare…. is true.”
