Heroes Dota 2 – Necrophos

Necrophos: “Be still your beating heart.”

Rotund’jere, the Necrophos (Necromancer), is an hero from DotA and Dota 2. The undead mage is a ranged combat unit of Dire. Necrophos’ abilities can damage enemies within a radius by his mere presence or heal allies around him. In the game, he can take on the role of a Support, Durabler, and Carry. Through the passive ability Sadist, Necrophos can temporarily greatly increase his mana and life regeneration over killed enemies, while Heartstopper Aura causes enemies in a large radius to permamently lose a certain percentage of life energy. Sadist increases many times over when Necrophos kills enemy heroes. With Death Pulse, he can regenerate Health from himself and allied units while damaging surrounding enemies. His Ultimate Reaper’s Scythe is useful for killing enemy heroes or securing the kill. If enemies die from Reaper’s Scythe, an additional 30% is added to their respawn time. Aghanim’s Scepter not only reduces the cooldown and mana used or increases the damage of Reaper’s Scythe, but also prevents a Hero who died from buying back into the game until his next death.

Necrophos- Hype

In Necrofo’s proximity, all enemies perish and all allies find renewed strength. With each wave of his magic, he heals friends and harms nearby enemies alike. After he has sufficiently weakened an enemy by his mere presence, he summons the Grim Reaper, which further prolongs the victim’s trip to the afterlife.

Necrophos- Biography

“When a severe plague swept through the land, Rotund’jere, a minor monk of dark disposition, found himself in the unexpected position of filling the office of cardinal because the ranks of his congregation had thinned. While others went out into the world to heal the sick, the newly appointed cardinal holed up in the cathedral of Rumusque, busily amassing the belongings of wasting nobles whom he promised salvation in exchange for the transfer of their earthly possessions. When the plague had died down to a few last nests, the news of his shameful behavior reached the highest ranks. Accused of heresy, he was sentenced to life service in the Plague Ward and cast spells to further delay his death. But no one knew of his innate immunity. Instead of consuming him, the diseases strengthened him and eventually made Rotund’jere a veritable plague mage, a pope of pestilence. As a self-proclaimed Necrophos, he now roams the lands, spreading the plague and feeding his terrible power on every village he haunts.”

Heroes (Dota 2)

The heroines and heroes (original: “Heroes”) are the primary playable entities in DotA and Dota 2. In a game, each player takes control of one of the 112 playable heroines and heroes. Each hero and heroine is a character with different attributes, abilities and roles. Each heroine and hero can also be categorized by the default attacks, which happen either in melee or ranged attacks.

Valve plans to develop their own heroines and heroes for Dota 2 after the release of the classic heroines and heroes from DotA Allstars, as Erik Johnson previously announced in a 2014 interview. After the release of Arc Warden in December 2015 and that of Underlord in August 2016, the hero developed exclusively for Dota 2, Monkey King, appeared in winter 2016, although it was at least based on concepts from classic DotA and appeared there as an event boss opponent. The Dueling Fates update announced in August 2017 confirmed the release of two completely redesigned heroes.
