Heroes Dota 2 – Lion

Lion: “All hell’s broken loose, and I hold the pieces.”

Lion, the Demon Witch, is an hero from DotA and Dota 2. He is a ranged combat unit of Dire. In the game, Lion can take on the role of a Disabler, Nuker, Lane Support and Support. Earth Spike damages and stuns enemies in a row, Hex briefly turns enemy heroes into a defenseless frog, and Mana Drain has a channeling effect but also lets Lion drain enemy or neutral units that have mana to give him their mana. In doing so, Lion can not only drain mana from heroes, but also from enemy ranged creeps. Lion’s Ultimate Finger of Death is one of the game’s nuker abilities that can deal the most damage to a target. With the help of Aghanim’s Scepter, Finger of Death can even damage surrounding units around the selected target and deal additional higher damage.

Lion- Hype

Lion gives his opponents little chance of a successful fight. He stuns them with sharp spikes from the earth or transforms them into harmless animals for a short time. And should an enemy survive his powerful spells, Lion’s allies have all the time in the world to change this state.

Lion- Biography

“Once Lion, a grandmaster of the Demon Witch tradition, rose to higher renown among his brothers because he fought for the side of justice. But fame corrupts the spirit. The mage, whose power was surpassed only by his own greed, fell prey to a demon that awakened the evil within him, and so he sold his soul for the glamour of glory. When his soul was corrupted by countless atrocities, he was banished. The demon deceived him to do business with his enemies. Lion’s rage grew so immoderate that he followed the demon to hell, slew him, mangled him piece by piece, and took his demonic hand. But the demonoplasty came at a price. As a result, Lion was disfigured, his body transformed into an unrecognizable shape. In his unbridled rage, he rose from hell to kill even those who had once called him master and lay waste to the land where he had once been so revered. Today he is the only remaining one of the Demon Witch tradition, and those who try to be servants or students of this art are early stripped of their mana and their remains carried away by the wind.”

Heroes (Dota 2)

The heroines and heroes (original: “Heroes”) are the primary playable entities in DotA and Dota 2. In a game, each player takes control of one of the 112 playable heroines and heroes. Each hero and heroine is a character with different attributes, abilities and roles. Each heroine and hero can also be categorized by the default attacks, which happen either in melee or ranged attacks.

Valve plans to develop their own heroines and heroes for Dota 2 after the release of the classic heroines and heroes from DotA Allstars, as Erik Johnson previously announced in a 2014 interview. After the release of Arc Warden in December 2015 and that of Underlord in August 2016, the hero developed exclusively for Dota 2, Monkey King, appeared in winter 2016, although it was at least based on concepts from classic DotA and appeared there as an event boss opponent. The Dueling Fates update announced in August 2017 confirmed the release of two completely redesigned heroes.
