Heroes Dota 2 – Leshrac

Leshrac: “The elements of my nature are in torment.”

Leshrac, the Tormented Soul, is an hero from DotA and Dota 2. He is a ranged Dire unit. What Leshrac’s abilities have in common is that they can deal damage in a radius around him, dealing great damage to both enemy units and buildings. In the game, he can take on the role of a Nukers, Pushers, Disablers, and Supports. The Split Earth ability makes the earth crack after a short delay and stuns units in its area of effect. Diabolic Edict damages surrounding units and buildings of the enemy. The amount of damage increases with the number of potential targets of Diabolic Edict. Lightning Storm must be cast on a target unit, but bounces around between multiple enemies. These take damage and are slowed by 75% for 0.5 seconds. Leshrac’s Ultimate Pulse Nova can be cast permanently or phased, as long as his mana regeneration lasts. Pulse Nova, similar to Diabolic Edict, damages surrounding enemies, but always deals the same damage. Aghanim’s Scepter increased the damage of Pulse Nova.

Leshrac- Biography

“Leshrac, Tormented Soul, a being torn from the heart of nature. A threshold being, half living on different planes of existence. His intelligence is so pervasive that he cannot for a moment ignore the tormenting horror at the heart of creation. Once a great philosopher in search of the meaning of life, he scouted the depths of nature with the enchanted Chronoptic Crystals. The heinous mysteries he uncovered changed him forever. Now the darkest recesses of his enlightenment are illuminated only by the flickering light of his arrogance. Like other elemental characters, he is at one with nature, but in his case it is a terrible and repugnant one. Only he sees the cruel truth of reality and has no use for those who think the universe rewards the righteous.”

Heroes (Dota 2)

The heroines and heroes (original: “Heroes”) are the primary playable entities in DotA and Dota 2. In a game, each player takes control of one of the 112 playable heroines and heroes. Each hero and heroine is a character with different attributes, abilities and roles. Each heroine and hero can also be categorized by the default attacks, which happen either in melee or ranged attacks.

Valve plans to develop their own heroines and heroes for Dota 2 after the release of the classic heroines and heroes from DotA Allstars, as Erik Johnson previously announced in a 2014 interview. After the release of Arc Warden in December 2015 and that of Underlord in August 2016, the hero developed exclusively for Dota 2, Monkey King, appeared in winter 2016, although it was at least based on concepts from classic DotA and appeared there as an event boss opponent. The Dueling Fates update announced in August 2017 confirmed the release of two completely redesigned heroes.
