Heroes Dota 2 – Legion Commander

Heroes (Dota 2)

The heroines and heroes (original: “Heroes”) are the primary playable entities in DotA and Dota 2. In a game, each player takes control of one of the 112 playable heroines and heroes. Each hero and heroine is a character with different attributes, abilities and roles. Each heroine and hero can also be categorized by the default attacks, which happen either in melee or ranged attacks.

Valve plans to develop their own heroines and heroes for Dota 2 after the release of the classic heroines and heroes from DotA Allstars, as Erik Johnson previously announced in a 2014 interview. After the release of Arc Warden in December 2015 and that of Underlord in August 2016, the first hero developed exclusively for Dota 2, Monkey King, appeared in winter 2016, although it was at least based on concepts from classic DotA and appeared there as an boss opponent. The Dueling Fates announced in August 2017 confirmed the release of two completely redesigned heroes.

Legion Commander: “You won’t win the war by dying for your Ancient. You’ll win by making the other dumb, unfed bastard die for theirs!”

Tresdin, the Legion Commander, is a heroine from DotA and Dota 2. She is a melee heroine who belongs to the Radiant. In the game, she can take on the role of a Carry and Durabler. Overwhelming Ods is most suitable for use against numerically superior opponents, as the damage dealt depends on the number of opponents. It also deals more damage to heroes. With Press the Attack, Legion Commander can remove negative effects from himself or allies and increase their attack speed and life regeneration. In direct melee, Legion gains an advantage in that her passive ability Moment of Courage sometimes lets her react directly to a melee attack, committing life steals. Legion Commander’s Ultimate Duel offers both benefits and great risk: it forces Legion Commander and a selected Hero to duel for a short period of time, during which they both cannot use active abilities and items, and grants permanent bonus damage to the winner, allowing Legion Commander to gain massive combat power. However, depending on the situation, the opposing hero can also defeat Legion Commander and receive the bonus, so using it incorrectly can also have a devastating disadvantage for Legion Commander’s team. Legion Commander’s Ultimate cannot be improved with Aghanim’s Scepter. After a long time in development, Legion Commander was released in Dota 2 2013 with the Wraith Night update.

Legion Commander- Hype

Legion Commander marches lonely across the battlefield, challenging opponents to duels. With each duel won, her attack damage increases until she has become an unstoppable one-woman army.

Legion Commander- Biography

“They came without warning. Within the walls of Stonehall, a rumbling and a horrific noise was heard, and from an unknown darkness, countless beasts appeared, spewing flames and casting foul spells, slaying and tearing mothers and sons to dark ends. Of Stonehall’s once mighty military, only the Bronze Legion, led by the indomitable commander Tresdin, was close enough to answer the call of battle. They rode back to the city, fighting their way through bloody alleys and burning marketplaces, slashing their way through the monstrous throng to the source of the sudden invasion: an ethereal rift cut through the city square, and at its precipice waited the dreaded leader of the invaders. Shrouded in a destructive glow, the leader of the hordes of the Abyss brandished his mighty blade and cleaved a legionnaire in two. Tresdin raised her bloodied sword and fixed her gaze on the beast. The beast turned to face her, grinning through a maze of teeth. Ignoring the battle raging around them, they charged at each other. Parrying blow for blow, they dueled as the Bronze Legion met its end around them. Tresdin leapt forward as her opponent swung his sword to strike her. The tide was turning. The attack struck Tresdin, a brutal blow to the side, but even as she lost her balance, she mobilized her forces for another strike. Blade scraped on blade, across the hilt to the gnarled paw below, cutting her in two in a terrifying mist of sparks and blood. The vile audience watched in amazement as she rammed the blade through her opponent’s flesh and into his heart. With a scream that parted the clouds in the sky, the beast collapsed in a gush of blood. The stygian portal wavered, the power that had held the rift open vanishing as suddenly as it had come. The remaining invaders quickly fell to Stonehall’s steel. Though victorious, those who remained did not have much to celebrate: the city lay in ruins and there were few survivors. Fires continued to spread. Spreading her banners of war, Tresdin gathered all the allies she could. Her rage blazed as she swore brutal vengeance on the forces of the Abyss, cursing anyone who stood in her way.”
