Heroes Dota 2 – Keeper of the Light

Keeper of the Light: “They say was I who carried the light into the universe. They might be right, I can’t quite recall.”

Ezalor, the Keeper of the Light, is an hero from DotA and Dota 2. He is a ranged combat unit of the Radiant. Due to its numerous abilities, the Keeper of the Light is suitable for both supporting allies and effectively fighting enemies. In the game, he can take on the role of a Nuker, Support, and Lane Support. Keeper’s first ability, Illuminate, has a channeling effect and lets him shoot a powerful wave of light at enemies, which deals higher damage with longer channeling but can be fired early at any time. Mana Leak is useful for pinning down enemies: If you apply it to an enemy hero, he loses a percentage of his mana when he moves. If his mana supply is completely depleted during the effect of Mana Leak, the hero will be stunned. Ezalor’s third ability, Chakra Magic, can replenish an ally’s mana supply at a certain rate. Keeper of the Light’s Ultimate grants him his eponymous Spirit Form, which grants him two more abilities. Recall allows the Keeper to teleport an allied Hero to him, as long as he doesn’t take damage from enemy Heroes while channeling, and Blinding Light knocks enemy Heroes apart and makes their abilities partially miss for a while. In Spirit From, Illumiante is also altered so that it is channeled and fired from a separate Spirit. Aghanim’s Scepter grants the Keeper of the Light permanent Spirit form. In addition to this, during the day he gains unrestricted range of vision in his sight area, which extends between trees, and heals allies with Illuminate for 75% of the damage dealt. He also appears as a non-player character in the first mission of the Dota 2 tutorial.

Keeper of the Light- Hype

The support of the Keeper of the Light is welcome in every team. He can both give and take mana, and overruns weaker opponents with waves of light. In his ghost form, he gathers his allies around him and drives the attack.

Keeper of the Light- Biography

“On a pearly white steed he rides along, a spark of the power of infinite suns, the Keeper of the Light. Long ago, Ezalor escaped from the elemental plane and broke away from the rest of the elemental powers to which he had been chained in eternal unison until then. He is a force of nature that came into being at the birth of the universe, riding through all dimensions at once and always one step ahead of Chaos, equipped with a gift he carries at the end of a glowing staff. Behind the outward appearance of a slightly decrepit old man, who can barely hold himself in the saddle, lies his true, majestic spirit. If the forces of chaos or darkness stand in his way, his ancient light strikes them and unleashes all his power, making him a serious opponent.”

Heroes (Dota 2)

The heroines and heroes (original: “Heroes”) are the primary playable entities in DotA and Dota 2. In a game, each player takes control of one of the 112 playable heroines and heroes. Each hero and heroine is a character with different attributes, abilities and roles. Each heroine and hero can also be categorized by the default attacks, which happen either in melee or ranged attacks.

Valve plans to develop their own heroines and heroes for Dota 2 after the release of the classic heroines and heroes from DotA Allstars, as Erik Johnson previously announced in a 2014 interview. After the release of Arc Warden in December 2015 and that of Underlord in August 2016, the first hero developed exclusively for Dota 2, Monkey King, appeared in winter 2016, although it was at least based on concepts from classic DotA and appeared there as an event boss opponent. The Dueling Fates update announced in August 2017 confirmed the release of two completely redesigned heroes.
