Enchantress: “You know what I love? Everything!”
Aiushta, the Enchantress, is an intelligence heroine from DotA and Dota 2. She is a ranged unit of the Radiant. In the game, she can take on the role of a support, pusher, durabler, and jungler. Her first ability Untouchable has a passive effect and slows down enemies who attack her or cast spells on her. With Enchant, Enchantress can temporarily convert and control enemy or neutral creeps. If she casts the ability on enemy heroes, they are temporarily slowed. Nature’s Attendants heals Enchantress and surrounding allies and herself. Impetus, Enchantress’s ultimate, costs mana but also increases the damage her attack takes as the distance between her and the target increases. However, Impetus does not increase her attack range in the process, but her projectiles will follow a fleeing target, increasing the damage done. Enchantress can set Impetus to use the ability permanently, enchant individual attacks with Impetus, or use it at all. Aghanim’s Scepter increases the range of Impetus.
Enchantress- Hype
Enchantress is dangerous when close and deadly at a distance. Her magical spears do more damage the farther they fly. She also paralyzes the movement and attack of her enemies and can make the creatures of the forest fight for her. Thus, she always has enough means at hand to defeat her opponents.
Enchantress- Biography
“Aiushtha seems like an innocent, carefree creature of the woods, but while this is true to some degree, it is only part of her story. She understands the suffering of nature. She wandered far and wide through diverse forests of all climates and – Season s, making friends, sharing news, bringing pleasure and healing wherever her path took her. In wars, forests are cut down to build ships and siege weapons; but even in peaceful places, wood is needed to build homes and fuel countless hearths. Aiushtha hears the pleas of the small creatures, the secretive folk who need green shade and a canopy of leaves to thrive. She gives her ear to those who have no listeners. She carries her stories from the forests out into the world, believing that her good words can themselves be a kind of enchantment, fulfilling the promise of a green future.”
Heroes (Dota 2)
The heroines and heroes (original: “Heroes”) are the primary playable entities in DotA and Dota 2. In a game, each player takes control of one of the 112 playable heroines and heroes. Each hero and heroine is a character with different attributes, abilities and roles. Each heroine and hero can also be categorized by the default attacks, which happen either in melee or ranged attacks.
Valve plans to develop their own heroines and heroes for Dota 2 after the release of the classic heroines and heroes from DotA Allstars, as Erik Johnson previously announced in a 2014 interview. After the release of Arc Warden in December 2015 and that of Underlord in August 2016, the first hero developed exclusively for Dota 2, Monkey King, appeared in winter 2016, although it was at least based on concepts from classic DotA and appeared there as an event boss opponent. The Dueling Fates update announced in August 2017 confirmed the release of two completely redesigned heroes.
