Disruptor: “The war storm is upon us.”
Disruptor, the Storm Wizard, is an intelligence hero from DotA and Dota 2. He is a ranged Radiant unit that features powerful storm spells. In the game, he can take the role of a Nuker, Support, Initiator and Disabler. Disruptor’s abilities are characterized on the one hand by limited area damage, which can damage both creeps and heroes, and on the other hand by its various ways of pinning down enemy heroes. For example, Thunder Strike deals damage not only to the affected unit, but also to surrounding ones. Glimpse teleports heroes back to where they were four seconds ago and can directly destroy illusions if the selected target is one. For example, if a hero uses a Town Portal Scroll, Disruptor can use Glimpse to transport him to the location before the teleportation. With Kinetic Field, Disruptor fences off a target area that enemy units cannot breach. Static Sorm, the Storm Wizard’s ultimate, summons a storm into an area of effect that deals damage over an area and silences enemies.Aghanim’s Scepter extends the duration of Static Storm and also lets the ultimate prevent items from being used.
Disruptor- Hype
Disruptor is good at thwarting the plans of his opponents. He locks them up with impenetrable fences and then summons a powerful storm that blocks their abilities. Should an enemy still try to escape, he simply teleports them back to their previous position.
Disruptor- Biography
“High on the wind-ravaged steppes of Druud, a gifted young storm wizard named Disruptor was the first to discover the secrets of summer storms. Constantly threatened by – Season al storms and claims of ownership by civilized kingdoms to the south, the Highland Oglodi have struggled for centuries to survive on the endless plateau. They are the broken remnants of a once-great civilization – a fallen tribe whose strange and inscrutable storm magic is cobbled together from scraps of long-lost knowledge and which they themselves no longer fully understand. For them, the weather has become a kind of religion, revered as both a giver and taker of life. But the electrical storms that bring vital rain take their toll, and the number of charred and smoking bodies in their wake is high.
Although quite small for his kind, Disruptor was fearless and driven by an insatiable thirst for knowledge. Still inexperienced and without a Stryder, he explored the ruins of his ancestral cities, searched through collapsed and crumbling libraries, and rummaged through rusting workshops. He took what he needed and returned to his tribe. Using an adapted ancient coil, he harnessed the potential differences and can now trigger thunderstorms whenever he pleases. Half magic, half craftsmanship, his coil holds the power of life and death in its glowing plates – a power he uses with precision against lowlanders to the south and other invaders who cross the ancient Oglodi lands.”
Heroes (Dota 2)
The heroines and heroes (original: “Heroes”) are the primary playable entities in DotA and Dota 2. In a game, each player takes control of one of the 112 playable heroines and heroes. Each hero and heroine is a character with different attributes, abilities and roles. Each heroine and hero can also be categorized by the default attacks, which happen either in melee or ranged attacks.
Valve plans to develop their own heroines and heroes for Dota 2 after the release of the classic heroines and heroes from DotA Allstars, as Erik Johnson previously announced in a 2014 interview. After the release of Arc Warden in December 2015 and that of Underlord in August 2016, the first hero developed exclusively for Dota 2, Monkey King, appeared in winter 2016, although it was at least based on concepts from classic DotA and appeared there as an event boss opponent. The Dueling Fates update announced in August 2017 confirmed the release of two completely redesigned heroes.
