Heroes Dota 2 – Chen

Chen: “The Inquisitor has arrived.”

Chen, the Holy Knight, is an hero from DotA and Dota 2. The riding inquisitor can convert creeps and thus a small army that obeys his orders. Chen is a ranged combat unit of the Radiant. In the game he can take the role of a Support, Jungler and Pusher. Penitence can be applied to units to slow them down and increase damage of any kind to them. Chen’s second and third abilities are both called Test of Faith, but function differently. The second ability deals random damage between 50 and 400 to a single unit, and the third ability teleports allied Creeps or Heroes back to base, though this happens with a short delay for Heroes. Arguably Chen’s greatest strength lies in the Holy Persuasion ability, which allows him to permanently control up to three neutral Creeps. In addition, Holy Persuasion grants additional Health to the controlled Creeps. Chen’s global Ultimate Hand of God allows him to heal all allied Heroes and Creeps under his control.

Chen- Hype

Chen recruits the creatures of the forest and builds a small private army. While this army destroys his enemies, he can rescue friends from dangerous situations and teleport them to a safe area. If the situation gets even worse, he casts a healing spell that gives allies new strength even from far away.

Chen- Biography

“Under the shimmering sun of his godless homeland, the Hazhadal Wasteland, Chen grew up among the lawless desert tribes. Using ancient rites of animal enchantment, his people had subjugated the species of the hardy desert Locuthi, a crippled variety of dragon. During the six-month rainy – Season , they had the sand melted into glass to catch the water. Plagued by hunger and thirst, the clans warred among themselves and did not even stop at their own countrymen. One day, however, Chen’s clan made a serious mistake and attacked the wrong caravan. A fierce battle ensued in which his clan was wiped out. The well-equipped knights of the Inquisition slaughtered the tamed Locuthi dragons wave after wave, and so it happened for the tribesmen. Chen fought for his life and eventually faced death. As he fell to his knees defeated, he willed himself to meet his fate with dignity by placing his head under the blade. His executor, impressed by this bravery, paused. Chen was given a choice: either death or conversion. Fervently, Chen surrendered to his new faith. He joined the Inquisition and earned his harness through bloody missionary work. Possessed by the fanatical faith of a convert and powerful in the arts of animal enchantment, he sought out the unbelievers and brought them before the Last Judgment.”

Heroes (Dota 2)

The heroines and heroes (original: “Heroes”) are the primary playable entities in DotA and Dota 2. In a game, each player takes control of one of the 112 playable heroines and heroes. Each hero and heroine is a character with different attributes, abilities and roles. Each heroine and hero can also be categorized by the default attacks, which happen either in melee or ranged attacks.

Valve plans to develop their own heroines and heroes for Dota 2 after the release of the classic heroines and heroes from DotA Allstars, as Erik Johnson previously announced in a 2014 interview. After the release of Arc Warden in December 2015 and that of Underlord in August 2016, the hero developed exclusively for Dota 2, Monkey King, appeared in winter 2016, although it was at least based on concepts from classic DotA and appeared there as an event boss opponent. The Dueling Fates update announced in August 2017 confirmed the release of two completely redesigned heroes.
