Heroes Dota 2 – Bloodseeker

Heroes (Dota 2)

The heroines and heroes (original: “Heroes”) are the primary playable entities in DotA and Dota 2. In a game, each player takes control of one of the 112 playable heroines and heroes. Each hero and heroine is a character with different attributes, abilities and roles. Each heroine and hero can also be categorized by the default attacks, which happen either in melee or ranged attacks.

Valve plans to develop their own heroines and heroes for Dota 2 after the release of the classic heroines and heroes from DotA Allstars, as Erik Johnson previously announced in a 2014 interview. After the release of Arc Warden in December 2015 and that of Underlord in August 2016, the hero developed exclusively for Dota 2, Monkey King, appeared in winter 2016, although it was at least based on concepts from classic DotA and appeared there as an event boss opponent. The Dueling Fates update announced in August 2017 confirmed the release of two completely redesigned heroes.

Bloodseeker: “My blade sings for blood.”

Strygwyr, the Bloodseeker, is an hero from DotA and Dota 2. He is a melee Dire unit that can receive healing from dealt damage. In the game, he can take on the role of a Carry and Jungler. Bloodseeker’s Blood Bath ability lets him restore health from dealt damage, based on the maximum health of the killed unit. It also lets him regenerate heroes killed near him. Bloodseeker also lends itself to targeting and killing enemy heroes who are severely weakened, as Thirst reveals severely wounded enemy heroes to Bloodseeker and his team, temporarily providing him with increased speed. With Bloodrage, he can silence himself or an enemy hero and deal damage over time, while also allowing for higher damage. His Ultimate ability Rupture causes enemy heroes who move to take heavy damage, thus mostly incapacitating them from moving or fleeing, as fleeing usually results in certain death, and forces them to face Bloodseeker in combat. If affected units do not move, they suffer only Rupture’s initial damage. The Ultimate can be improved with Aghanim’s Scepter and now grants charges to the Ultimate.

Bloodseeker- Hype

Bloodseeker presents its opponents with tough choices. A large-scale blood ritual forces anyone who doesn’t want to take damage to retreat, but at the same time, for victims of his ultimate ability, it’s stand or die.

Bloodseeker- Biography

“From the misty mountain peaks of Xhacatocatl, the Outcast Twins dispatched the consecrated hunter Strygwyr, the Bloodseeker, to find fresh blood for them. If the priests of the summit plateau could no longer quench the outcasts’ immense thirst for blood, they would soon feed on the population of the mountain kingdom in their rage. So Strygwyr was sent in search of sources of new blood. The sacred marks on his weapons and armor allow the life force of every drop of blood he spills to flow directly into the jaws of the twins. Over the years, he has become a nefarious hunter who resembles a ferocious jackal in battle. Behind the mask of the Bloodseeker, it is rumored, can be glimpsed from time to time the features of the outcasts themselves, who guide their bloodhound with their own hand.”
