Heroes Dota 2 – Alchemist

Heroes (Dota 2)

The heroines and heroes (original: “Heroes”) are the primary playable entities in DotA and Dota 2. In a game, each player takes control of one of the 112 playable heroines and heroes. Each hero and heroine is a character with different attributes, abilities and roles. Each heroine and hero can also be categorized by the default attacks, which happen either in melee or ranged attacks.

Valve plans to develop their own heroines and heroes for Dota 2 after the release of the classic heroines and heroes from DotA Allstars, as Erik Johnson previously announced in a 2014 interview. After the release of Arc Warden in December 2015 and that of Underlord in August 2016, the first hero developed exclusively for Dota 2, Monkey King, appeared in winter 2016, although it was at least based on concepts from classic DotA and appeared there as an boss opponent. The Dueling Fates announced in August 2017 confirmed the release of two completely redesigned heroes.

Alchemist: “You can call me Al! / He’s the brains of the operation.”

Razzil Darkbrew, the Alchemist (Alchemist), is a hero from DotA and Dota 2. In the game, the Alchemist always rides on his ogre, who does the direct melee combat for him. Thus, the Alchemist combines great strength with high intelligence, but also has relatively low agility. The Alchemist belongs to the Radiant. In the game, the Alchemist can take on the roles of Durabler, Carrys and Disabler. Through his passive ability Greevil’s Greed, he can accumulate large amounts of gold in a short period of time, as he receives bonus gold with each enemy he kills, which actually increases with killing streaks. Acid Spray covers large areas with an acid that deals damage over time and lowers the armor of enemies. Unstable Concotion can stun enemy heroes, but also poses a danger to the alchemist himself. If he fails to cast the concoction on an enemy hero within five seconds, it explodes and stuns him and his ogre. The stun duration of the brew depends on the length of the brewing process. With his Ultimate Chemical Rage, which has a low cooldown, the Alchemist can temporarily massively buff his Ogre, massively increasing life and mana regeneration and movement speed, as well as decreasing base attack time. Chemical Rage cannot be upgraded with Aghanim’s Scepter, however Alchemist is able to give the Scepter to an ally to give them all the bonuses of the Scepter. This also applies to upgrading with the Scepter.

Alchemist- Hype

From each enemy killed, Alchemist synthesizes additional resources and can quickly gather the necessary equipment to crush his enemies. He ambushes them with the help of unstable chemicals and a corroding acid, so that he can then give free rein to his greed.

Alchemist- Biography

“The sacred science of Chymie was a Darkbrew family tradition, yet no Darkbrew ever showed such creativity, ambition, and ruthlessness as young Razzil. Nonetheless, when he came of age, he pushed family traditions aside and tried his luck at making gold through alchemy. Bold as he was known to be, Razzil announced that he was going to turn an entire mountain into gold. Two decades of research, expense and preparation later, he failed spectacularly. Shortly thereafter, he was imprisoned for the large-scale destruction his experiment had caused. But Razzil was not one to take a setback lightly, which is why he planned his escape so he could continue his research. When his new cellmate turned out to be a fierce ogre, it was the opportunity he had been waiting for. After persuading the ogre not to devour him, Razzil carefully prepared a tincture from the mosses in the cracks of the prison stone for the ogre to drink. After a week, it seemed the time had come. When the ogre ingested the potion, he fell into a berserker rage, during which he destroyed the cell bars and broke through walls and guards alike. Shortly thereafter, both found themselves in the forest outside the city walls, a path of devastation behind them, but with no sign of pursuit. After the potion gradually wore off, the ogre appeared calm, happy, and even eager. They decided that they would work together as a team and set out to gather the materials needed for a new attempt at Razzil’s alchemical transformation.”
