William Roberts Irons is a character from Call of Duty:

He is the son of Jonathan Irons and also Mitchell’s best friend. He was born on May 13, 2033, and later in his life served in the United States Marine Corps until his death on July 10, 2054. On a mission on said date of death, he was stationed with many other Marines in Seoul, South Korea. In a firefight, William was pinned down by a spaceship, which exploded a short time later, killing him. His best friend Mitchell also lost a hand trying to save Will.
