Vasili Zhukov (Василий Жуков) is a subordinate of Russian President Boris Vorshevsky and appears in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3.
Biography
Employee of the Russian government.
He was a close advisor to Russian President Vorshevsky and serves in his cabinet. They fly together to Hamburg to hold a peace negotiation with NATO. He is described by the president as a man whom no one likes on a personal level, but who, when it comes to work, is all the more efficient. Vasili seems to have been part of the extremist ultra-nationalist faction when it ruled Russia.
During the flight he expresses his opposition to peace with the West. During the discussion between him and the president, men from the inner circle storm the plane and hijack it in order to kidnap the president. The meeting room was opened with an explosive charge, killing almost all cabinet members, only Vasili survived with an injury to his arm.
Later the plane crashes, Vasili, the president and his escort survive and wait for a rescue helicopter. Commander Pudovkin and Agent Harkov join them to take them to the landing Mi-8 helicopter. Harkov opens the door of the helicopter and Makarov is inside. Makarov shoots Harkov, and the president’s escort is also killed. Vasili tries to run away, but is shot in the back and presumably killed.
