Captain Takeo Masaki (Japanese: 正木 武雄) is a Japanese soldier who fought in the Imperial Army and is a playable character in Survival. Biography
Meet Takeo, for whom life has no meaning unless you achieve perfection in discipline and show true character and honor. Sometimes he ponders this and other philosophical questions while his katana cuts through the flesh and sinews of his enemies.
Our hero was born into a wealthy family; it goes back many dynasties and centuries, and in all that time it was richly endowed with samurai and bushido. Well, Takeo is no exception in this glorious history. When the family first saw the small, full-of-life Takeo cutting the tails of fear-struck cats in the streets at the age of 5, it was obvious that he would one day bring honor to the Takeo name.
Reserved and thoughtful, the war was the perfect opportunity for Takeo to exploit his thirst for murder and wipe out those weaker than him, so if you fall victim to his quick actions, you know full well that you’ve helped a man better than yourself reach a ray of hope.

History
Takeo Masaki was a fighter in the Japanese Army and a prisoner of Group 935.
Dr. Edward Richtofen used Takeo and two other test subjects for his experiments. One of them was a Mexican who died as a result of the tests. So he replaced him with the American prisoner Tank Dempsey. The other test subject was Nikolai.
So Takeo, Richtofen, Dempsey and Nikolai also became the victims of a much bigger experiment. Richtofen wanted to test his teleporter, which he worked on desperately for a very long time. However, after the teleporter was overloaded by Element 115, they traveled through time into the future and ended up in an abandoned theater in Berlin, sometime in the 1960s. After that, the journey went to an abandoned Soviet spaceport, where a scientist named Gersh was hoping to be freed.
Again the group traveled, and this time to Siberia, where George A. Romero wanted to make a zombie movie with four well-known actors. Things get worse when real zombies show up and turn George into one of them. The actors find the four original characters trapped in a small room. Richtofen wants them to find the golden staff for him. When they manage to do so, Richtofen leaves them the miracle weapon DG-2 and the group makes off. They load into Shangri-La, which despite its peaceful name is filled with zombies because there are mines full of Element 115.
Richtofen brought the group to this place to grab the focus stone. Along the way, the group helps a researcher and his assistant escape from a time loop.
When Richtofen has everything needed for his plan, he teleports the group to Hangar 18 of Area 51, which has been overrun by the zombies. The group is able to quickly escape into the teleporter, which teleports them to a base on the moon.
Thanks to Richtofen’s previous tests, there are undead here as well. The group is able to open a mysterious machine and looks for the first time at Samantha Maxis, who was able to keep the body of a young girl because she was frozen. Richtofen fuses the focus stone and the golden staff and swaps bodies with Samantha to take control of the zombies.
Through the computers in the station, the group is contacted by Maxis and is told that there is a way to minimize the damage Richtofen will cause. The group is able to watch as three missiles hurtle toward Earth to sever the connection between the Earthly world and the universe where Richtofen is located. Luck is on Richtofen’s side, however, and the rockets destroy the world. This allows the zombies to wipe out the survivors of the impact and Edward has even more power.
Nikolai, Dempsey, and Takeo, meanwhile, are antagonizing on the moon.
The four meet again in Origins, an alternate parallel universe. However, Richtofen has not gone insane and the characters are all still very young. Thanks to Samantha, they are finally able to travel to another parallel universe.
Two years later in The Giant (an alternate version in an alternate universe) the three characters (Nikolai, Dempsey, Takeo) meet an old version of Richtofen. The latter has managed to teleport the young version of Richtofen from origins to him. The young Richtofen shoots the older one and the other three characters are confused, Takeo included.
Takeo tells Richtofen that he had a dream about two children, which he found very strange. This dream refers to the cut-scene at the end of the easter egg of Origins.
Info
• Although Takeo is highly respected by Dempsey, he himself shows little respect for his partner, believing him to be stupid. When you play as Takeo and you run out of ammunition, he claims his gun is just like Dempsey’s head, namely empty.
• He hates Nikolai Belinski, who in turn hates him.
• In Call of Duty: Black Ops, his appearance has changed significantly. He grew a beard, got older and his voice changed. While they teleported 15 years into the future, he may have aged, which would explain everything, but that’s rather unlikely because the rest of the group hasn’t changed a bit.
• In Shangri-La and Moon, he gave Nikolai the nickname “Nikki.”
• Takeo had the rank of captain, which can be read by the badge on his wrist.
• Takeo finds the monkey bomb quite amusing.
• Takeo has an unusable katana with him.
• Quick Revive is Takeo’s favorite drink, sometimes he says it tastes like sushi.
• Takeo loves the landing craft on Ascension.
• Takeo’s favorite weapons are submachine guns, his favorite being the Type 100 from World at War.
• He is the only Japanese character in Black Ops.
• Takeo is allergic to plums.
• In Call of the Dead, you can hear Richtofen, Dempsey and Nikolai talking behind a locked door. Takeo is supposedly sick and doesn’t say a word during the entire dialogue.
• Takeo shows Richtofen the utmost respect, but secretly hates him.
• Because his family was supposedly rude, Takeo killed them completely.
• In Shangri-La, Takeo says that his favorite weapon among the punched versions is the Mnesia.
• On Moon, Takeo no longer wears his cap.
• Since he hates Nikolai and also secretly dislikes Richtofen, it looks like of all the characters he likes Dempsey the most, who also treats him with the utmost respect. This is strange because Japan was at war with America.
• In Call of Duty: World at War, his character model was based on that of a Japanese soldier from the campaign, while in Black Ops it was copied from the Japanese officer from World at War.
• Takeo’s hands are based on the NVA’s Ghost model from multiplayer.
• Takeo is ambidextrous, meaning he can use his left hand just as well as his right.
• Takeo is Japanese and means warrior.
• Takeo has a strong connection with Samantha Maxis.
• When Takeo fires the crossbow in the trailer of Kino der Toten, he uses the model of Edward Richtofen.
• In Kino of the Dead, he very briefly mentions the Arisaka.
• Takeo is the first of the group to get his memories back, Dempsey gets them almost at the same time, and Nikolai is the last to remember.
• Takeo seems to be pretty low on memory because he throws up after the crew reaches Kino of the Dead (which can be heard on a radio in Shi No Numa), plus he throws up again while doing the Easter Egg in Call of the Dead.
• In Moon, we learn that Takeo’s goal is to kill every single member of Group 935, but whether that includes Maxis is unknown.
Heroes (Call of Duty)
The Call of Duty series has existed since 2003 and in addition to various spin-offs, including for the handheld systems Nintendo DS and Sony PSP, 14 major titles of the series have now been released. Ever since the first part of the series, great emphasis has been placed on the online multiplayer mode in addition to the single-player campaign, which is also reflected in the development of the shooter series. Since the first Call of Duty, World at War, which was developed exclusively by Treyarch, each part also included cooperative challenges that you could play together with friends. The latest installment, Call of Duty: World War II, also features an extended multiplayer mode that puts you and your friends in the combat zones and famous battles of World War II. Using the divisions, you’ll be able to choose between the deadly sniper and the brute armored division and support your comrades in battle. In addition, World War II also has a zombie mode “Nazi Zombies”, as in its predecessor Call of Duty: Black Ops. Face the monsters of the Third Reich and win glory and honor.
