Originally from Bridgeport, Connecitut, Pvt. Kelly led a comfortable life as the child of a respected surgeon. He graduated at the top of his class and went to Yale University to study English and French literature until he was drafted in his second year there. Since childhood, Kelly loved to read and kept diligent journals. The 20-year-old, pale red-haired boy wears glasses and is in relatively good physical condition. At the time of World War 2, he served as a soldier in the U.S. armed forces in Fox Company under the command of Sergeant Glenn Hawkins. Under whose command he moves from Tunisia to North Africa to Sicily and finally to France. After the Battle of Piano Lupo, he and Roland Roger are promoted to Corporal. Then, when Sergeant Hawkins is wounded for the second time in France and taken to safety from the war effort by medics, Kelly is promoted to sergeant and gets to lead the Battle of Hürrigenwald with Roger, who has also been promoted to sergeant. After this battle, Fox Company is led through Germany by Able Commander Norman Delaney. His last decisive battle in World War II was the Battle of the Siegfried Line. He survived World War II, but it is not known how his postwar years were.
